Uterine polyps: Removal for infertility?

I been ttc naturally and with Ivf for 13 years and every year I have to get polyp removal idk why they coming back I’m currently on my second embryo transfer after having my polyp removed two months ago but I’m worried polyp will return during the two week wait.

I just had an ultrasound that says I have possible polyps. I wish you were my Dr!

Hello, is this true that usually on ultrasound polyps would be seen??? This is what doctor claims and she refuses to check mine lining for polyps with sono. 5 years of unexplained infertility.

I just had a D&C today to remove a polyp and a thickened lining. I have PCOS. I need to lose weight and I hope that will help balance estrogen and progesterone.

Since I was a teen, I’ve never getting pregnant n never did Abortion my whole life. I’m now 37 and still never conceived yet but I was diagnosed with a lot of fibrous which I got them removed in 2021 and still didn’t get pregnant 🤰! I was diagnosed with parathyroid n got it removed 2022 as well n I got diagnosed with polyps n just got it done 8 days ago 1/12/2023 with the procedure of (biopsy, d&c, hysteroscopy, ablation) and recovering from it❤! I’m hoping n praying to Almighty Jesus/Jehovah I get pregnant 🤰 with my little one somedays❤. I knew my life isn’t/wasn’t perfect n wasn’t/isn’t n stills not easy or perfect but I do believe I will get pregnant 🤰 in Jesus name 🙏🥰

I got this procedure yesterday hysteroscopy I'm in so much pain after the procedure because after anesthesia gone it so much pain specially when the catheter remove so much pain when pee although the pain is tolerable when u take pain killer im hoping to get pregnant after this

I was just told that my polyps came back for the 3rd time 😢. I have 2 in get middle of my uterus. I’m going to get it removed again. Why does it keep reoccurring? I was pregnant via IUI but had an early miscarriage.

Did anyone have irregular periods or no periods what’s so ever before removal? I have no periods what so ever. They found a 2 polyps and a cyst and put me on progesterone for 44 days 200mg before my removal. Did anyones periods come back after that and achieved pregnancy. Ttc 7 years now. I had a polyp that was found via a normal ultrasound. I think it’s a big one.

The ultrasound was for something else, entirely (chronic infections I was suffering with constantly.. and still do to this day). The ultrasound tech said “Do you get spotting between your periods of light pink blood?” I was shocked! I replied, “Yes, but how do you know that!?” To which he replied, “Because you have a polyp in your uterus. I can see it.” I then asked what that meant. He said my doctor would need to follow up about it, as I was young (28) and he said, while it’s usually nothing, she would most definitely look further into it. She did not. I always wondered if she even looked at the tech’s report. I’ve had my pink polyp blood every month for around 14-16 years now. I’m also suffering painful and debilitating symptoms of severe anemia, now.

The doctor I have now seems like he’s actually willing to try to help me. I didn’t know that the blood in between my periods was such a bad thing because I assumed if it was, that my old OB/GYN would’ve done something about it. She didn’t. But the doctor I have now thinks that my polyp(s) may very well be the cause of my extreme anemia. He seems to actually give a care unlike my old OB/GYN. And he’s not even a specialist. He’s my GP. Credentials don’t really mean anything it the credentialed one gives no cares.

We’ve been trying to conceive and haven’t had any luck. Found out I had a polyp and had it removed last month. Hoping we get pregnant soon 🙏🏻

I just had a saline ultrasound done this morning. It wasn't bad at all. I have 2 polyps. Havent had a period in 3 or 4 months now cuz of the polyps. And would spot allll the time before i found out i had poylps. Every week before my period i would spot all week and then have my period. Crazy amount of blood too. And huge blood clots.
Only 29. Have one 8 year old. Had one miscarriage. Do NOT want anymore children. Just want my body to go back to normal.

I've had polyps for the last 5 years. The random bleeding 🩸 is awful. I bent over to pick up a soda box and felt a big gush. If was the largest blood clot I've ever seen. I keep going anemic and having to get iron infusions. I'm 48 and suffered from infertility due to pcos. Finally got pregnant after 7 rounds of clomid at age 40!

I'm perrimenopause I had ultrasound done last week they said they found a poylps and thickness of my womb , I'm on hrt iwaa on the mireena and estrogen gel andcthevmireena was misplaced andci was using progesterone peasary 200mg until they removed my coil which was removed last September! I had mireena crash😢 and continued to use progesterone peasary and estragel until December bi had spotting then it gradually vwrnt into a heavy cramping period! Now I'm worried the the build up from a misplaced mireena coil that caused this, the Dr said I should expect sinister outcome like cancer or historctomy😢😢

19 years old, no children, not obese, bleeding heavily for months with cramps. Doctors don’t understand how I have multiple and countless polyps in my uterus and endometrial thickening. I had to undergo diagnostic hysteroscopy with a biopsy because the transvaginal ultrasound didn’t show anything. Now I’m waiting for the biopsy results to determine if my polyp removal surgery is urgent or not. I’m very sad because there are so many—more than 30—and my experienced gynecologist had never seen a case like this in someone so young. Unfortunately, it’s very expensive, and I don’t have insurance, but I’ll have to find a way.
