I don't know where it comes from but sometimes i hate a character for a reason i can't reconcile, and Baby fu¢k'ng Groot is one. There are only few characters or groups of characters that do this: Podlings from the Dark Crystal is one. The reigning king of these, the one that triggers a visceral reaction of hated is without a doubt "Rotta the huttlet," from the Clone Wars. The Podlings and Groot i think are liked to that uncanny valley reaction. Rotta is that i just fucking hate Hutts, but i love hate them because they're so repugnant. I didn't like the way they tried to paint Jabba the Hutt, one of the most loathsome villains in movie history in a sentimental fashion. He's a sadistic, disgusting slug, but they soften and smooth his appearance in the Clone Wars movie and even give him a smile, which i think they're incapable of doing. Rotta is a green pinched off turd with eyes, like an even grosser version of Mr Hanky the Christmas poo from South Park.
