I love cabinets that go to the ceiling.
I've never understood why builders/designers/cabinetry experts create that dead dust-collecting space between the cabinet tops & the ceiling.
Cheaper, I guess, but it makes even very high-end expensive cabinets look like cheap builder-grade. In my opinion. And most kitchens are like that. At least where I live.
I'm stuck with cabinets like that right now, & I loathe them. I'm not one to fill that with artificial plants, baskets, etc (I don't like clutter) so it's just wasted space that collects dust & grease, and I have to climb up on the counters to clean it. If I won the lottery I would beg Rebecca to design my kitchen :)

We just decided to renovate out kitchen and boy oh boy there are so many ideas I want to add but its not as easy especially if the kitchen isn't big enough. Ive heard you mentioned 'furniture like appliances'. How do you wrap appliances into wood? Does it need to be purchased like that?

How long have you been doing design. Formal training?

I used to live in Colorado. Colorado Springs and a suburb on northwest end of Denver. I so miss Colorado, the climate, shops, restaurants, gorgeous scenery. Some great memories in Colorado for me.
