That's because Issa was the prophet at that time...Issa is not God...for the son of man so why didn't he say the son of God, that's because he knew he was just a man and not God.... listen to yourself again read the Bible and what Issa said...

Because he was a prophet.....He is speaking Gods words which you would understand that if you read the Quran.....Because that's Gods words that he is speaking to man because man doesn't understand anything unless he is taught so Issa is teaching them Gods words... how else would you know unless the prophets teach you... He is not saying he is God...

So lets ask yourself a dumb question, If God can just speak and it is done, why would God allow his creation to kill him... to save you...think... God could just speak it and we all would be saved, but God is giving every man a choice to decide where and what each soul of every man chooses to go. Heaven or Hell... Issa did not die, so what that means is that every man is responsible for their own actions, if you are so into the Bible then you should know that the Bible tells you that no man shall carry another mans burdens... which clearly means you are responsible for your own actions... In essence what the scripture implies is: Why do you call Me good? Do you know Me that well to know that I am good (you just met me) or are you just saying it to flatter me. You know that only God is good and if you know who I am enough to know that I am good then why haven't you given up everything to follow Me. It is important to note that NOWHERE in this scripture did Jesus say "I am not good" nor NOWHERE did He say "I am not good but God alone".

I get it we want to exalt him because we want him to have favor in us, so essentially we do it because we think if we call Christ God enough times he will let us into heaven.

But he’s clearly saying he is not God !

I believe that God can become him when he wants but leaves Jesus’s body at will in that moment Jesus is God but when his father leaves his body he is no longer God.
