Great review! I’ve never heard of these clubs but from what I just watched, they look like they compare to a Takomo or a Cally set of irons. And the driver and hybrid clubs look better than the other DTC brands. Good job Gary.

The look great, but looking at the offset, i am thinking “fore left” the hybrid looks like it could turn the ball right angles

Its a very good set, the only short fall is the head covers just fall off, very poor. otherwise its above a beginner set.

I only hear good things about Stix

Not sure if it’s the same company but I remember Nevada Bobs amongst others who sold Stix or Styx putters! They were like a chevron shape metal face with a polymer coating and a cylindrical almost “hammer” like tube weight at the rear of the face centre that the shaft went in to! I think you could get three interchangeable face “inserts” differing colours, soft, medium and firm!

For that money look what you can get on second hand market !

The power of marketing Gaz. Can't remember many golfers back in the 90s who were too concerned about flight windows and shot specific numbers. They just concentrated on hitting fairways and greens and shooting the lowest score possible. Ben Hogan FW-817 package set from Sports HQ looks excellent value at £349. Think that will take some beating 🤔

Stix as a brand, provide good quality, very playable clubs. I will be honest, I had headphones on, and the PW fron Stix, sounded better than your own. You were flushing them. Due to the shafts, the height achieved will be lower, based on your set being custom fitted by Sam, who made sure your landing angle was good. For a none fitted set, these were amazing.

Bought my dad a 2022 model Stix 5 wood on clearance and he pures it. I have a Callaway 7 wood (yes, I know not the same exact club but a major brand nonetheless) and the Stix 5 wood feels just as good as the Callaway. Construction is great. Sound is nice too. Stix are quality.

Takomo has the best deals on irons but Stix is 2nd to none on this deal.

I remember my starter set from years ago, A set of Donnay's, but I managed to get down to 12HC using them, but those stix look like a whole different level.

I bought a full set of Stix last year and absolutely love them. I think the putter specifically is excellent and have no intention of replacing it even when I eventually move on from the rest.
