Good morning, my heart feels incredibly sad today. Yesterday I've been told by my church of many, many years that I'm no longer a member. I politely dissagreed with my Bible study leader that Hbr 13,17 doesn't mean that she is going to be responsible in front of God for my salvation, and that I feel forced to have to explain myself to her why I was absent on a Sunday service or why I'm not going to attend the church's Christian camp. That was the first and only time I was ever assertive to her. I always respected her. Three days later I got the call that they decided to remove me from the church. The reason: she doesn't want me to feel forced. God is so loving and mighty for Joice to post this message today. It speaks straight to my sad heart ❤

Well, I admit I get irritated & stressed when inconsiderate parents let their kids scream oer a program so others cannot hear.

Joyce, I had to laugh when you spoke about who God chooses and you were not a likely candidate. My dad was an alcoholic a very angry man, my home life as a child was horrible. He was emotionally abusive would get into angry rants...i had no hope for this man. I even asked my mom to leave him...She did not! I decided to leave home immediately if I finished high school and then my dad started going to church.... I thought oh please...he isn't fooling anyone... I was so wrong. God had so much plans for my dad. At the age of around 64+ he became very serious about the Bible and God. He is 83 now ... Is a minister, does ministries in prisons with Kairos, he loved hymns and would practice playing the organ at church while he cleaned there, this year the church asked him to play at a funeral because the organist was ill. He was so nervous but he did it. I cannot believe the things God sent my dad to do but more importantly I cannot believe he answered yes every single time.
