Ich benutze die 980 ti heute noch in 2024, seit 9! Jahren. Die Leistung reicht selbst für UWQHD in 3440x1440 aus. Ich muss dazu sagen dass ich keine E-Sports Spiele mit 624 FPS zocke sondern Triple A mit 60 FPS auf nem 60 Hz Ultra Widescreen. Und genau da liegt die Stärke der Karte. Für 1440p wie gemacht. Meine läuft sogar nur auf 85% Powerlimit, mal eben 50 Watt gespart.
Die neuen Features wie Raytracing und DLSS wären schön zu haben, und jeder bezahlt viel Geld dafür, aber kaum jemand hat mitbekommen dass AMD für die 980 ti das sogenannte ASR freigegeben hat. Damit kann auch die 980 ti auf die KI von AMD zugreifen. Das heißt ich gebe eine Ziel-Framerate und Auflösung ein und die Ki macht das, genau wie DLSS. Warum macht das nicht Nvidia selbst für die eigenen Karten? Lob an AMD
Und Grafikeinstellung auf Mittel bei der Auflösung tun auch keinem Weh.

So basically this video shows that whatever u do, don't buy an rtx 2080ti, if you have a low budget then buy a gtx 1080ti and if high budget.... then buy rtx 3080ti

2023 and just bought a 1080ti on ebay for under $200

i still use the giagabyte aourus 1080ti waterforce xtreme edition . and do not want to change . you can do all the data you like . the average eye will never tell the difference .

This tells me that unless you are playing Cyberpunk 2077 or RDR2 . A 1080ti will give a very good gaming experience in any game here on ultra settings. If you are prepared to compromise on shadows the 1080ti will do well even on those titles.
The other exception being MS Flight Sim - which only gives a moderate experience even on a 3080Ti
It's shocking to see that the 980ti does pretty well in most of these titles at Ultra as well. A few compromises here and there and it would be fine. 980ti averaging 50+ fps in most of these games at ultra. A card almost 8 years old... My son had just started high school when that came out. He finished university a few months ago.

Turn DLSS on and see what happens

I was expecting a bigger difference between the 1080 Ti and 2080 Ti, well after all the initial jump from GTX to RTX was more a thing of gimmick and new functions rather than raw performance/power like it was between 980 Ti to 1080 Ti

Nvidia tried so little making the rtx 20 series cards lol. They were basically gtx 10 series with raytracing and dlss. That's pretty much it

2080 demonstrates the garbage gains it was.

This RTX 2080 TI is capped, it's much faster than this. Look at the Power Draw, it should be like 280w on a non-overclocked one. Mine runs Days Gone at ~120fps (1440p, Ultra).

Because when I’m writing this comment I’m in 2022 (Of August) I want to advise the people that just came to the video that I really recommend getting the rtx 3080 ti not only because the prices dropped or the performance difference, I’m talking about over all experience. For example if you buy the rtx 2080 ti instead of the 3080 ti you will get a massive difference in speed, performance etc.

10900k not really the best for a 3080 ti. A 12900k or a 5800x3d you will probably get an extra 7-10% more fps. But still great vid.

I just laugh at those who bought the 2080 ti. 3070 comes out at a fraction of what 2080 ti was and is on par with it. Too funny

Even tho 980 ti is released back on 2015 its impressive that its still can play at 1440p At Decent FPS

I have Asus Strix RTX 3080ti OC edition and let me tell you, Ray Tracing and DLSS are game changers. I get around 100 FPS at 4k and 90 FPS with Ray Tracing + DLSS. The graphics and frame rates are beyond what I could have ever imagined. The best graphical experience I've had since I started gaming in 1998.

I'm pretty surprised the 1080Ti is that close to a 2080Ti. I'm going to re paste my 1080Ti and put a cooler on it to keep it running for years to come.

the jump from 980ti to 1080ti is the most! beceause amd claimed to be 2x as fast with his new card and nvidia responded but vega wasnt so good after all

the 1080ti is a great gpu for all the gamers out there who are on a budget. im also thinking of getting one stepping up from 1050ti to 1080ti since i play alot of sim racing games that have alot of bots or players who play that causes a big fps drop to my 1050ti 👍

Difference is bigger at 4K.

Even an i7 7700k will run over 60 fps with a 3080ti in MSFS.

I could bei Happy with my 3x RTX 980ti SLI system but the motherfuckers Stopper Support for SLI in Most Games.

so if we keep in the direction we are heading the 6080 ti would be getting 3x the amount of fps as the 3080 ti which is only like 5ish years away, and if you REALLY want to stretch the 10800 ti would technically be getting 3x that of the 6080 ti so if we use red dead redemption 2 as an example at 1440p near max settings would be getting ~900 fps in 10 years but that's a very very far stretch and that's assuming that current games could even utilize all of the gpu because look back at GTA 4 for example at 1080p it only uses like 10% of the 3080 ti because it just isn't made to run on such good graphics cards

The 1080ti is a beast still yet to this day and very close to the 2080ti. I own a 1080ti FE swapped the stock cooler with a corsair hybrid cooler I'm at 2100mhz core and 6000 on vram getting 60 to 65 fps on cyberpunk. Mine is running head to head with the 2080ti fps in this video. I get 100+ fps in gta beats the fps of both the 1080ti and 2080ti in this video.

I Love my 3080 ti.

60fps for it's perfect so I keep my 1080 for now
