Mechanical are cooler, but many features on the smart watch. Both, obviously
ОтветитьApple people can be very elitist its funny to hear them talk about attitude.
The argument is simple, you can buy a mechanical watch that looks amazing
you cant buy an Apple watch that doesn't look like shit.
I don't wear watches, but still enjoying your content.
- Ziro out.
Find me an apple watch that will still be working in 50+ years
ОтветитьImean being able to ping your missing iphone is OP
ОтветитьI’ve owned both and I ditched the Apple Watch pretty quickly. I didn’t like being notified more than I already was. I also swim a lot and love a mechanical waterproof watch!
ОтветитьBut why only Apple watch ? There are so many smart watches from others brands which looks miles better than apple watch.
Sure it probably won't beat I the apple ecosystem compatibility but why should even watch be part of ecosystem?
When I see someone with an Apple Watch or Samsung Watch, I assume that they have a short attention span. I assume that if I am having a conversation with them, they may get a notification and get distracted easily. It's like someone wearing a cell phone on their wrist. If you are having an important meeting with someone, you prefer that they don't have anything on their wrist that will be a distraction
ОтветитьIt's mostly Boomers that are obsessed with old mechanical watches mostly for status. Apple watch is about utility, you can talk on it when your hands are a bit tied, you can see weather, messages, fitness metrics, health monitoring, ring your iPhone, see news alerts, ask a quick question, and much more.
There's no right or wrong answer here, each person can choose whether they care more about showing off status/style or utility.
Either way the watch companies are laughing at the fools who buy a mechanical watch for 5, 10, 50, 100+k. Just like women who pay 5k for a $57 dollar purse.
That's why I wear both at the same time. Mechanical on my left hand, Ultra 2 on my right.
ОтветитьDo whatever you want, but smartwatch is stupid in my view. Watch is almost only jewellery man can wear. Most of the time it disturbs you and it can lead you to bad behavior, when you check on it during a conversation. Besides that everything you need is already on your god damn phone.
ОтветитьI wear both, that is why God gave us two wrists
Ответитьi wear Mechanical and dont need to charge it every day. Plus my phone is for all the digi needs and I can put it down when I want to stay away from alarts, cant do that when its stuck on my wrist.
ОтветитьStick to what your brilliant at , breaking down body language and interaction between people, I for one love your videos there funny informative and I believe we all learn a lot ...
Leave the watch thing alone it's been done to death on so many Utube channels, the presidential watches , the watches of the Oscars , who spends what on what etc etc etc ..
Best Regards...
Claude..🇬🇷
There is a space for both in my life. There is time I prefer Apple Watch and mechanical watch for all other times :)
ОтветитьNo thanks. Highspeed lowdrag no watch and sometimes No phone.
ОтветитьBro Make Video of Narandra Modi🇮🇳 and Vladimir Putin🇷🇺 Hand Shake Meet In Moscow
ОтветитьMannnn where you been?!
ОтветитьHow is this even a discussion? 🤦🏻♂️
ОтветитьMechanical watch but never a leather band. The leather band will smell bad over time. Always go for a metal band.
Ответитьanalog watch all the way
ОтветитьI have had a beautiful mechanical watch for years and enjoy it as jewelry.
ОтветитьI wear 3 different watches. Adults wear mechanical watches. My nicest watch cost $900 it's a nice watch but it's certainly not pretentious. My cheapest was $300. I bought all 3 of my watches because i thought they looked good. All of them are completely different. The styles definitely say something about what your tastes are especially women.
ОтветитьI have a Seiko 5 and a Swatch Body and Soul, both very affordable and a lot more stylish than my Smartwatch.
ОтветитьMechanical watches are the coolest but nothing beats your cellular watch..
ОтветитьNever will I ever own a smart watch of any kind, there is a mechanical resurgence not just in watches but even with manual transmission cars. We’re at a time where people are getting sick and tired of the abundance of automation!
ОтветитьWhen I see a guy wearing a smart watch, it tells me he doesn't wear the pants in his marriage.
ОтветитьI don't accept the stated characteristics of the wearers of Apple v. mechanical watches. I've spent my life in the tech world. I was an early advocate for the Apple Lisa and insisted that my company provide me with one. In another company with a policy of PC only and no Macs, I got them to change the policy to allow Macs. In many ways, I've always been an innovator. However, I wear an Omega (mechanical) watch because I like it, I wear a sport watch for outdoor activities and I have enough electronics in my life, including my Mac and my I-phone, I wear aviator sunglasses because I like the style and I wore them before Tom Cruise did in "Top Gun", and I never wear a baseball cap backward. I have no tattoos because I don't think that they look good and, as a style choice, they are difficult to undo. I choose styles because they suit me, not to follow some trend that someone else started because they think it's cool and a massive number of sycophants try to copy it or silly lemmings want to blend with the crowd. I think that the simplistic explanation which you've presented does not explain the broader range of motives that many people have and the more complex nature of individual choices.
ОтветитьI just look at the sun🤷🏻♂️
ОтветитьDaily I wear the apple watch. Tracks my health and fitness, tells me the weather, shows me messages, etc. I don't really care too much about optics.
That being said I love mechanical watches and have my eye right now on a Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra.
Watches are for telling time, and some serve as jewelry as they suggest fashion or style or as the price goes up. One can get an inexpensive but very nice mechanical watch from Seiko for example that are waterproof and look great.
Apple watches, to me, are for people who are overly obsessed with their phone and face book comments...so they must respond in the second that someone texts them. They are Pavlovian in nature, salivating and looking away from the present conversation when their watch dings, drizzles, or vibrates on their wrist. It's kind of rude really.
Mechanical for dates, outings, weddings. Digital for daily chores and the gym.
Ответитьjust use your phone idiots
Ответитьwear a mechanical fitness watch
ОтветитьO'leary collects watches and only cares about mechanical watches being worth more.
ОтветитьSeiko please 🙏
ОтветитьApple products are for consumerist women. I cannot take you seriously as a grown man if you have an iPhone or one of these watches on a noodle wrist
ОтветитьMeanwhile I am wearing a 80s Casio CA53W-1 since 5 years (was 19 back then) just to have a device to check the time without looking on my phone
ОтветитьNot an apple watch but a Samsung Galaxy.
I hated it at first, but it was a birthday gift so i couldn't turn it down since my mother, my sister, and my younger brother all pitched in to get it. At first i didn't want to use it, but my actual watch, an old, brandless relic had died out. I could just get the battery replaced but with tech and the hour everywhere, id figured it was unecessary. Just a quick tick at my phone and time is there.
My primary concern with the e-watch is lack of trust and privacy, but at this point.. what hasnt been acquired by these corpos. So i actually started using the sleep checker, and the measurement features.
Honestly?? I have a whole newfound appreciation for it. I still like to keep my old watch, even as someone who feels like they grew up in a lost time, and hate the new fast info overflow of today, learning to adapt isn't bad as long you don't lose mind over it.
People that think the apple watch is the future are deluded. Since they are planning on putting all this stuff right in our brains...
Thats the future...
Not a computer on our wrist... like wtf
“Planning for the future” by buying something that instantly depreciates in value and will be worth essentially nothing in a few years?
ОтветитьI wear fairly expensive watches from small brands most people never heard of. They are totally invisible to the average person. I prefer it that way. But, on occasion a watch nerd will see them and we always have a great conversation about watches.
ОтветитьI like that we have so many choices and people can wear what they like. For me, mechanical all day long, automatics! They can easily last lifetimes plus. They are like the classic muscle car to today’s EV. Do you think these Ev’s or Apple Watches will be rocking and cool or functional in 30, 40, 50 plus years? And the best thing is, no batteries or electricity needed. That’s a flex these days. Having anything that doesn’t need charged or has electricity flowing through it.
ОтветитьI actually got a quartz watch . A Rolex oysterquartz 😂. My favorit is a 30 year old Vacheron Constantin. Apple watch I migth wear for running.
ОтветитьThis guy reminds me of a well-dressed young James Hetfield
ОтветитьI used to have a smart watch now I’ve got normal watches
ОтветитьIm team mechanical watches 😊
