The noise in the Appalachian, the people were hearing is actually a train 🚂 I’ve lived near railroad tracks all my life it is kind of scary and spooky it could be a ghost 👻 🚂 hehe and by the way, I live in the Appalachians and it can be very scary and there’s history that goes back very far around here and in our national parks are keeping stories me myself. The locked out dog one is easy to solve. You can see a half open window directly to the left of the door. My guess is, the door stays locked, the dog tries to jump through the window, kind of bumps the window pane with its body, creating the sound, and ends up on the other side of the door to be let back in.

And the follow-up video could easily be faked with a person standing just outside the door to the right in the blind spot. With a thin rope attached to the doorknob, they could easily shut the door quickly. While the girl walks past them pretending not to see them.
