Analog Warmth For Beginners

I usually think of low end saturation when I think of analog warmth. I remember people used to say that specific harmonics made something warmer like even was warm and odd was gritty or something like that. Idk though. I usually think of 3 different sounds when I think of analog saturation. Tape, Tube and Transistor. Tape seems warm but so does tube. Not so much the transistor though. That seems crisp like hard clipping. Sounds like I’m about to fall down another audio rabbit hole today. Lol.
