Personally I've never agreed to abortion. I was blessed to be given life so I'd never even think of terminating another being's. And honestly this video makes me dislike the idea even more. I didn't know how awful the process of abortion was till now and it truly hurts my heart to know how many innocent beings are being killed.

You say it's backwards to consider the rights of the mother over the rights of a fetus simply due to its decency on the mother because after birth it is still dependent ON OTHERS. I used to be pro choice. I even went to a Planned Parenthood booth in college. Once I saw a 4D ultrasound, discovered that babies inside the womb have brain waves/dreams/smiles, and learned more about the "get out of jail free" mindset that men have with casual sex, I became pro life. I am now very supportive of crisis pregnancy centers locally and am doing what I can to support the abolition of abortion to return our society to responsibility/chastity/honor. We have created a culture of death in this country through this, and it has to stop.

People can rationalize abortion all they wish. That's there prerogative, though that does not make their prerogative, true, just, ethical, wise, wonderful, or even okay. They may have a right to their opinion but that does not make an action any less horrific.

It seems to me, having been pro-choice most of the decades of my life, that it really comes down to whether we believe we all have souls or do not have souls. We are not just brains. I recognize now that in the past I had assumed just that; that who I am is related to my brain activity. I also didn't even recognize the obvious fact that it is a human growing and maturing in a womb (not a sheep or a crab) in a process that human development process proceeds from conception, through birth, through infancy, through childhood, adolescence, through adulthood, through old age. There is no "before" or "after" when one becomes a human being and a person. It goes from conception through death and beyond.

I love these videos. Do you have anything on those who say a man should not be telling a woman what she can do with her own body?

So I get all the points, and yes I do value life! Also the life of fetusses. But there are to many cases where having a baby or just being pregnant can severely hurt to just make all abortions illegal.

I remember a 13 year old girl who had been sexually active. She didn't have a great home life and mentally she was unstable. Just the fact of walking around with a fat tummy for a few months made the girl consider suicide. She went to a doctor and talked to a therapist, we decided that abortion would be the best option.

And yes while this situation might be especially sad and hard these things happen daily!

So while I do value human life I also value the life of the mother, I value their life before the fetus because the woman has a life and friends.

We need to have way to bring the number of abortions down. Like paid leave, better options for adoption, free therapy, better knowledge about contraceptives (not just abstinence, because you know hormonal teenagers), better help for poor people and just some understanding!

Ideally everyone should recieve some therapy before making the choice of abortion and reasons need to be big. Like the story above, or in medical situations where it's the moms life vs ths babies life.

I am PRO LIFE but I try to listen to both sides. I think some good points were made here. However, one thing pro lifers NEVER talk about is what would happen if they got their way and abortion was illegal. Would that mean forced labor, larger orphanages, increased taxes for welfare? 🤔

More focus needs to be on the children who have already been born. Right now, at this moment a child has been born into an unsafe environment. More needs to be done beyond just saving the unborn from murder in the womb. Hospitals need to do more to raise red flags with some mothers, fathers and other family members associated with the newborn. Assessments and inquiries to the parents should be made prior to allowing baby to leaving the safety of the hospital and follow-up wellness checks at the home may be necessary after discharge. Many children, from the first day of life, are more vulnerable than ever and face uncertain, and possibly, life threatening futures in the custody of parents who are not prepared to care for them and are not willing to change certain lifestyles that may threaten the safety of children. I am a 55 year old grandmother who, with my 63 year old husband, is raising three grandchildren; 10, 8 and 3 years old. My daughter chose several times to act carelessly and thoughtlessly while living a reckless life. She has had four pregnancies that I am aware of. One of her children, was put up for adoption without our knowledge. Unfortunately, grandparents have very few rights and we could not reverse the adoption and bring our lost granddaughter home. However, her adopted parents are kind and compassionate people and frequently send us photos of her so we know that she is happy, safe and well loved. One day we hope she and her three brothers will be able to meet. I hate to imagine what life would be like for our three boys had their grandfather and I had not took the bold move to gain custody. My daughter fought against it and still is. The sad thing is all she does is talk. She has never been truly committed to getting them back. The youngest child is still not in our legal custody. The pandemic is to blame for that. But that doesn't matter. She'd have to send the police and CPS to my door before we give them back to her in her current state. What's sadder yet, is the oldest boy is diagnosed autistic and my daughter doesn't understand how to interact with him. She upsets him a lot. The middle boy we suspect is also autistic with hyper active behavioral disorders. He also has moderate asthma and severe eczema. He requires a nearly sterile environment and around the clock monitoring because he can scratch himself raw. We use monitors to alert us at night. The youngest boy shows mild autistic signs. Now that life outside the home is getting safer we will be able to take the youngest two in for evaluation. My daughter was always welcome to live with us and be a mother for her children but she left just before the pandemic hit. She didn't like our house rules. The youngest was about 5 months old when she took off. It's been so long he doesn't even believes she's his mother. Still, to this day, my daughter has not gotten her life together and is constantly making reckless and dangerous choices for herself. I shared my story to let people know that the energy you put into saving an unborn child doesn't stop when the child is born. Unfortunately, once they are here, many in danger don't get the protection they need to survive and thrive. Do what you can to help a vulnerable child. Sponsor a child in your country or somewhere around the world. Take in a child in need through foster care, adoption or, in my case, step forward and protect those in your own family even if it means taking custody away from another family member. And if you see something wrong and sense a child may be abused or neglected, say something. You can do it confidentially and you just may save a precious life from further harm or worse. PRO LIFE MEANS LIFE FROM THE WOMB AND BEYOND. GOD BLESS!

Oh my gosh 7 children that's environmental vandalism the planet cannot support increasing population to that degree we are only meant to replace ourselves that means two children. At this point in history what gives you the right to have 7 children when the planet is dying humans are devouring the resources of the planet at such a rate it is not sustainable. Trump was saying America is full we have no room so build a wall and don't let any more people in. You are going to see a lot of homelessness poverty and crime increase. Not everybody has a rich footballer husband. With covid a lot of people have gone broke. I'd be careful with communion now. You've all been told.

Most abortions are a symptom of inadequate support. Food, housing is not enough. Humiliated mother inhibits child's brain development in the womb. For at least the first 3 years, children need mature emotional connection from at least the mother. Emotionally immature mothers (and fathers) cannot provide that support. Thus, the brains of these children will develop for survival and isolation rather than connection with others. Provide emotionally mature support for women and children and the need for abortion will mostly go away. Emotionally mature women are less likely to have accidental pregnancies and can better handle the few surprises. Show how pro-life you are by emptying the foster care system. Too many children in this society are never adopted. Every abortion is a tragedy, but penalizing the poor (those least able to raise emotionally healthy children) will not solve the problem. Keep in mind, adopted children are 4 times more likely to attempt suicide than non-adopted children.

I do think there is a variety to the my body my choice argument I don’t find it very good or compelling at all, but I don’t think all pro-choice people who say my body my choice, mean that the baby is literally a part of a woman’s body, I think what they mean is it’s using their body, although I have heard many pro-choice people say it literally is.

The only thing I don’t agree with on the second video, is calling those who support abortion “pro choice”. They aren’t for choice at all, they are for death. They are pro death monsters, not “pro choice” advocates.
