It's like CS2 was a direct downgrade in a lot of places. The game just feels like getting a paintjob on a rusty ass car. It's still a rusty ass car that just looks nicer in some areas, but shittier in others.

same with ak headshot - was my favorite skin in cs go, i still have it but its much much worse

when i back to cs2 after some years i bought the ak47 headshot because it was holographic in csgo, and now it isnt anymore D:

The creator of the mod released updated version of the skins recently on the steam workshop, should hopefully be readded to the game properly soon...

I think it looks better without the shitty neochrome effect but it has like no pearl left in it at all it should have some but still be literally a white skin like it’s supposed to be

Valve has nothing to do with the creation of this skin man stop talking trough your ass and talk BS. The creator alteady has a cs2 version. All valve is doing is holding it back form being implemented

For what i know cs2 has the original pearlescent effect since it will look like that in real life .. that's why it is called a pearlescent it is a pearl effect

I think they should give you the option to pick between the white and pearlescent cuz both look great

It was like this due to the maps shading giving over saturation to the light hitting the weapon it was a bug so they fixed it in cs2

the printstream creator ig is working on remakes but no progress has been posted on his twitter since October 2023…not sure if they will ever drop or how valve would ‘replace’ the skin with its new version
