NordVPN Review 2025: PROS & CONS you need to know before buying

The thing I don't like about NordVPN is that it doesn't have honest marketing. It tries to sell itself as an all-in-one privacy and security solution while it really isn't. Also the website with those countdowns and discount things looks like some 2013 scam. But the product itself is definitely amazing.

No one is telling me whether any VPN software will leave anything behind on my local ISP

The only complaint i have is no gui for linux . More of a nuance than anything but it still does work very well with linux after it is set up.

paid $97 for 2 yeears now after 40 days much trouble loading pages if they load at all and much slower using Nordvpn not worth buying i regret it.

I don’t like Nord’s billing policy . After 2 years they contacted me to say my account is up for renewal but would not tell me how much payment they will take untill it’s taken. I left them for that reason

NORDVPN IS COMPLETE TRASH AND THEIR COMPANY IS FULL OF ROBOTIC HUMANS THAT WOULD BOIL A BABY IF THEIR "COMPANY POLICY" CALLED FOR IT.

Trouble is they over charge you on auto - renewal for a lesser time period without informing you first

I have been using it for a couple of weeks. This is a good overview but couple other things to know:

Android - does not have 'trusted WiFi'

iPhone/iPad- does not have 'split tunneling'

NORD VPN expects that the user is highly trained in IT. I tried to install it and found it far too complex. Intuitive? Sure, if you have been using a VPN for years. And access to cancellation requires multiple steps. Let's see if they refund me my money.

North is the worst I tried. I regret buying it. It is very very slow. Even with dedicated IP you get blocked everywhere! IPv6 not there so you get blocked all over! It is showing everyone you are using a VPN! Even Hotspotshield is faster and doesn`t give you this problems! So what are you talking about.. faster ? and what ever? How much do you get paid?

Don't fkn use Nord this company, they ripped me of to the tune of $250
