I've been a fan of Lacuna Coil since 2001. Unleashed Memories was the first album I heard. Hooked since then. I have enjoyed their journey and progression but I have to say, I don't enjoy that so many of Andrea's vocals are screaming now. Thought it added emotion and drama years ago, but I always appreciated the contrast between his vocals and Christina's who may be the greatest metal female singer ever. I wonder if he can no longer sing, or just chooses these vocals? Just my opinion; but I miss his straight vocals versus all the screaming. Lots of other metal bands to do that, seemed to me vocals and great song craft made Lacuna Coil different.

This song is so fucking awesome man

After actually following the lyrics and contemplating them... this would be a great song to cover with a simple acoustic guitar and a emotional singer allowing themself to fully express the pain inherent in the songs lyrics...

In this version it's kind of hidden by the fact that it's a real banger in Lacuna Coil's hands and you're just caught up in the power of the performance and Christina and Andrea going off, tearing it up with naked aggression.

I'm inspired by [Something for Kate] Paul Dempsey's raw acoustic cover of Miley Cyrus's Wrecking Ball, which revealed it to be a lament about lost love and regret.
[You could here the sadness in his voice as sang about how he failed in love, it felt like he had suffered it himself and this was the song he wrote in an attempt to heal. That's what I mean about expressing the emotion in the lyrics, not just projecting vocal strength.]

This song with just Christina at the mic, being overwhelmed by the pain and loneliness of modern life. And a simple acoustic guitar backing, to let the lyrics run free and not be drowned out (or distracted) - to covey their message of not being able to cope.

That would be a beautiful performance.
