My god. I have hundreds of hours in this game and never realized Dogmeat didn't count against the Lone Wanderer perk. I feel so noob.

Super late, but i always liked doing a charismatic soldier build. I always use both Rifleman and commando to cover ranged and close range combat. Also armorer and gun nut are must haves, scrounger for more ammo and demolition expert for extra firepower. Toughness and adamantium skeleton, plus i grab steady aim for my auto guns and idiot savant for extra exp, and i put charisma to max to pass all dialogue options. I usually just run heavy type armor like the heavy synth or heavy combat. Those are my top ten perks for my favorite build

It took me half of the game to realize vats is super useful but i focus my player on lockpicking and intellect for looting, charisma at start helps with merchants and action boy is much useful with lone wanderer and power armor.

Lone wanderer is the best perk for any character.

Even though it's completely useless the majority of the time if you intend to do companion quests. Or anytime you have Nick or Cait with you like he says he usually does later in the video.

It makes sense that Lone Wanderer wouldn't need high Charisma.

so, you needed to artificially up your list to 10 weapon and armor crafting should have been any applicable crafting perk.
or
if not combined it is a list of 22 perks.

P.S. you need both hacking and lock picking if you take lone wonder as you can not have your companion do it. that is provided you care about hacking and lock picking.

INT 10+Idiot Savant Level 2=balanced early game, rough middle game, Physical God endgame.

Blitz and scrapper are far better the almost all those. I don't count the ones like commando and such. Because not taking them just makes the game even harder at end game high level. Where as blitz synergies great with sneak and ninja. And scrapper is awesome. Because it means you don't have to look for so much rare components. Such as aluminum. You can scrap high end guns with good parts and be swimming in nuclear waste and aluminum.

Not gonna lie, Knox starting hus diss with that isn't gonna make we listen to it more than once lol. Only misstep to me for either, sonically that was no comfortable

Just curious, does the lone wanderer perk still work with dog meat? Not sure if they’ve patched it out in the 2024 update

The perk (I think it was strength or strong back) which lets you fast travel when encumbered made me very very rich.. a must

off the rip, if he does/or doesnt mention it, i cannot overstate how useful fast travel while over encumbered is! you can literally do any mission, pick up literally everything, go store the junk in your workshop, and then go sell the rest... aside from grouping your settlements(forgot what thats called) best perk ever.. this game is consuming me though! hahah

apparently all you gotta do is get the tesla weapon.. i have yet to be touched from almost anything when using it.. almost unfair haha

I made a drug user build I have a 50/50 chance not to b addicted and the chems last longer (chemist)

Surprising I been using idiot savant with party girl and with alcohol dumbing you down by 1 and not being addicted to alcohol. It really does work hand in hand especially in fighting because your strength is up 1 too when drinking

Guess next playthrough I'm putting a bit less in intelligence and more in luck at character creation (I only put 1 in luck bc used to TES and thought It'd be useless now I really regret it)

I usually go for full carry capacity, lock pick and hacking in order to not miss a single loot wherever I go.

EVERYONE loves Lone wanderer. But i like having companions! You dont get more carry weight as you can give Strong and Dance alot more stuff than you can carry with Lone wanderer and Dogmeat
