Is it just me or are anime bad guys always more over designed than like the protagonists? Not in a bad way but like, they always seem more like, they have way more going on... and I mean, that seems to translate to figures in a big way... I dunno... maybe it's just me...

Figure pricing is affected by a lot of factors. Size is not the most critical one. Paint shading, Detail level, Character popular are as equally important.
Also some of items are used, so they might not the super perfect and get discounted.

fyi price of ichiban kuji figures doesnt depend on the letter. Being A doesnt mean its the highest prize. Its usually the LAST ONE Version that is the most expensive one.

I have that Levi Figma. It wasn't particularly easy to put together because of the ODM gear etc. It almost feels like putting a model kit together at times. It's a really cool looking figure with some interesting features (like you can hang it from things) but if you're looking for a "typical" Figma to get the idea of the brand, it might be better to start with a non-AOT one.

The Ichiban Kuji numerals are simply to differentiate the individual items within a set and how they are awarded. However in terms of the lottery A is the prize you are least likely to get.

The letters are not for rankings tho. lol. It's Prize A, prize, B, Prize C, etc. Goku was "Last one" prize where you can only get it after the last ticket is sold.

That said, did AmiAmi change their no photography and filming policy or are stricter now? I have yet to visit the AmiAmi Figure Tower location yet, but when I was at AmiAmi Radio Kaiken and their old 2nd hand store location a few months ago, I did not run into issues taking photos of these types of figures, including the 18+ section of the store. I wonder if they stop you not because you were on the fan service or 18+ / NSFW floor but they are just stricter now? Hope you can return to that store again in the future for more footage, enjoy living vicariously through your videos.

Ichiban kujis top prize is not A rank, it's the "Last One" prize. The goku with wings is a Last One. It's usually a slightly different version of one of the other figures in the Kuji, but sometimes like in the case of that angel goku, it's a unique figure. Regardless, it's usually going to be the most valuable in the lottery.

You win the "last one" prize by buying the last ticket in the box. That way even if the remaining prizes aren't very good you are going to get a nice once by buying the rest.
