Go BIG or Go Home!!! X9 1100 and a 16 Row Corn Head!

A large farm in western KY runs 6 or 7 or more S780 combines with 16 row heads. They only go about 2.2 mph per Big Tractor Power video. They used to run 6 16 row planters and one 32 row, so I guess they need 16 row corn heads. I would say 16 rows for an S780 is too much, would be better with a 12 row I guess.

Heck no ever 12 acres you got a truck load of money on the ground I would rather slow down and get every penny in the truck money on the ground is not money in my checking account

Good on Deere for once as of lately. 1196 and those trailers are a perfect match. Triples are where a 1300 is key. As for 12row we are a lot more efficient in breaking through with the long auger. It was a lot of jacking around picking over to make a new land and even with 1/2 mile rows we’d have to pick over with the 8 row and the big top. No pits but the 2 trucks are keeping up with the combine pretty well. All the point rows you have will make a huge difference.

Can you imagine that and saw you being with a 50 foot head to say mean?

If your boys decide to go into farming, just imagine what the equipment will look like when they reach the age you're at now. They'll probably take it the field and operate it from their truck or back at the office.

When my dealer brought a demo machine they also brought 3 drop pans , takes a lot of guess work out of loss calculations

You really should have put your current combine beside the demo one and show the size and row difference.

Our 780 runs a 45ft Draper and a 16 row cornhead

16 row is way to small for an x9 bud

I have viewed a few X9 videos, learned more from yours than the total of all the others. You have always been data focused regarding all of your decisions, and I think that is why the X9 showed up on your farm. Good honest, objective narrative. Didn't have fun, did you?! 1500 bu grain cart gets you a truckload high moisture corn in one stab.

Now Imagine how the new Case IH AF 11 or New Holland CR 11 would play in these corn

A fellow up here in southwestern Ontario bought one got one year out of it ended up buying a used one that was fixed there's nothing but a piece of shit but I guess you're going to find that out as well
