What a neat idea!

This launched in Sept 24 and has some crazy rules (as of then).


- video must be less than 7 days old
- each viewer only gets 3 hypes to spend
- channel must have at least 500 subscribers to be hyped
- the smaller your channel is, the more the hype score is worth
- hyped videos go on a scoreboard vs other channels
- hype does not affect algorithm or recommendations
- eventually viewers can purchase more hypes (not yet)

Things could change of course. It is a little confusing at first. It almost sounds like a video game.

So, as a creator, you would have to be careful as to which video you want hyped. If you push all the hypes into one video with your audience, it could definitely boost it into infinity and beyond!

tfs, i haven't checked it out yet. I been at it 5 years, & still only 1123 subs. I never give up, but does get a little discouraging, i pretty well do daily vlogs & MAYBE earned $500 in this time. Only quitters fail, so giving up is not an option , for this 72 year old great grandmother. tfs
