What I LOVE about your talks is your gentle way. You honor where people are. You have a respectful and humble way that inspires and uplifts rather than shames people into transformation. I almost feel, when I listen, that there is an opportunity to grow in every moment and everything is all a part of a spiritual path. I can accept myself and the conditions of the world AND choose to be my best self when I am ready. I don't know if that makes sense. I feel soothed and accepted as I am when I listen, which helps me (and I believe others) to be my best self and choose the high road in each moment.

Of course a lot things are up to us. But we shouldn't exaggerate and always act as if everything was up to us. If this would be the case, we would be completely alone in our own world, not responsible for others well being and for our environment.

What about people who live in war zones? Would some spiritual teachers recommend to completely forget about the surroundings and just focus on your own inner peace?
This is easy to say.

Of course there is a lot of truth in New Age. But why do most people simplify so many things and exaggerate at the same time...?

Matt is a great man......The repeat after me's, I cannot stand and have to fast forward through. That can't really be the way to empower people. It feels cultish and unnecessary, forced and not genuine. The transmissions alone are more than sufficient.

Here is me watching your video: Yes! yes! I love the message, I think you are so right on, at this point I am practically ecstatic, great message. Then there is the moment you talk about sitting in your house sending love to all of us because you are tanked up, and I am little like ok? maybe you are super advanced and I don't know about this, it sounds a little narcissistic, but I'll let that one pass, this is about self love after all. Then I get to that part where you felt a little empathy from the pharmacy tech, and I am all like, wait, what? Dude! you are proud of yourself because you weren't offended that a person who probably had shit coming at her from every direction for hours, maybe days, maybe a lifetime and you felt a little glimmer of empathy and compassion? Wow. That is eye-opening. Try taking a service job for a few years, and let me know how it goes, make sure to go in disguise as a woman. The gap between my understanding of what you are saying and how self satisfied you are that you managed to just "take it"... It is like I am an alpinist and you are telling me you really rocked the bunny hill. I am happy for you, and super glad that you found deep happiness, and that is a really sweet speech, but why are you lecturing to people who are climbing K-2? And this actually isn't passive aggressive, it is just plain old aggressive, and I am laughing at you. But way to go! keep going on the compassion! Next try to feel the love while you are working a job where actual mean-ass people try to dominate you or threaten you, and you feel a little stuck because you have two children that depend on you to bring home the bacon. It is a bit of a step up from where you are now, but I know you can get there. Rooting for you!

I cannot get with all of what these videos contain. I take what is true and must leave the rest where it is. I find that new religions creep up using different words but have the same meanings as other indoctrinations of various biblical texts. Anyone seeking truth earnestly shall find it by listening to their inner spirit/intuition. Otherwise, the lessons of life will play out everything and eventually the seeker gets truth whether in this life or others.
