This is so original and brilliant, I was loving it for the comedy and then the ending is so moving and hopeful omg ❤ I always hated competition shows like X factor, I never liked how they treated people, I really didn’t like the way they treated Susan Boyle as some kind of monster who could miraculously sing because they couldn’t comprehend singers who weren’t conventionally attractive… I feel vindicated and also even worse for anyone who was bullied and humiliated for ratings ffs anyway I hope you go places Emily you deserve it

This is such a lovely and funny show, Emily. My 16-year-old daughter is just in love with the stage, and quite frankly seeing her amazing talent and that of her large circle of gifted musical theatre friends, I think your show is a must watch for all of them. The ability to laugh at oneself is non negotiable regardless of how talented the person. You’ve shown both enormous talent and such a wonderfully grounded and mature outlook, culminating in one of the most original standup shows I’ve seen in ages. Well done ❤❤❤
