Do you guys think he only chosed 5 alien because it was the most he could handle without going crazy, like Kevin that absorbed the omnitrix and couldn't control himself afterward? After all, he could have just absorbed like another 5 or 10 and become really unstoppable before aiming for the baby. Maybe his absorbing limit is 6 alien (the andromeda five and the baby celestialsapien).

He was smart choosing to let Ben and friends do all the work to find what he needed and then swooping in at the last second to grab it. Even when fighting he chose to do it at a distance whereas Ben usually tries to get up close.
In the end it was Kevin who finally defeated Agregor.
