"Why are you quitting?" Special Operations Candidates conduct pre-dive training

This instructor is a Combat Diver who has completed much harder training than this. The training being conducted here is basic preparation for courses such as Combat Dive school and BUD/S second phase. If you can't survive a flooded Aqualung Atlantis dive mask and some hydration from the hose, you'll never survive the training that comes after this.

If these guys were on an actual dive job working on the sea floor or under a dam and something went wrong these guys aren’t ready, they would immediately panic and because they panic they will do something wrong or worse…. drown

Water inside your mask is basic training for divers exercice in sweden. We throw the mask in the deep end in the pool then with closed eyes searching then put it on and tilt the mask while you blow air in to it thrue tour nose

Best advice in life, "Be comfortable with being uncomfortable." Life can suck sometimes, well it can suck a lot really. It can only get better through drive and determination, which leads to uncomfortable places and feelings. If you always run from the discomfort, then the sucky times will never get better. When life gives you lemons, use them in your celebratory margaritas!
