I don't know why this isn't offered by big monitor brands. I have a 4k 60hz monitor that is fine for coding and work, but have to switch it out on my desk for my 240hz BenQ when I want to game. Would love to have a monitor that can do both 4k60hz and1080p 240hz

Changing the hz would be nice, but not the resolution, I do that in the is.

It's super quaint going back to a time where 4k120 was so bleeding edge that you needed two DP cables to drive a bare panel, but man am I glad that 2022 Linus figured out what to do with his hands other than "gesticulate wildly like a ps2 game character"

The fact this was a thing 6 years ago and there are no consumer monitors that can do 4K 120hz and swap to 1080p 480hz is such a shame. If this guys could do it "in cave with a box of scraps!" then I dont understand why Acer hasnt tried. Also seems like something right up corsairs alley with their weird ass monitors of today. Imagine the ultrawide, OLED Xeneon Flex, but it could do 3440x1440 at 240hz and 2560x1080 at upwards of 400hz. Would be a game changer.
