I'm 32 and like to take it easy in a relationship until there is a foundation you know... and met a guy who I instantly found myself drawn to, everything was easy as it usual is, we connected and enjoyed each other's time. I want to tell you a bit about him he is 36 name is ali and he had recently lost his brother and quit his job found out he was actually homeless and staying in emergency accommodation, he's driven and passionate just wasn't In a good place, but I choose to stand by him as he was just in a bad place. Weeks go by and i got him into better accommodation and he found a job! Weeks go by and he starts talking about living together and generally we are excited for our future. Unfortunately I had some bad news about my young sister who is fine! But at the time messed with my mental health and then I sprained my knee... I wasn't able to be strong around this time I needed time to heal mentally and physically. I told ali where I was at mentally and didn't feel myself. The next ongoing 2 weeks i felt the distance between us grow he even told me I had to change my routine as I didn't leave the house much with a sprained knee... slowly the critisms came In and I found myself not caring as much until one morning I told ali I don't feel safe anymore I was worried. I was generally in a bad place. I just wanted to be ad open as possible with him about everything, but unfortunately the next day he tells me he won't be completing his life in England he will be going back to his country to be with his family, said it was my decision and I never even asked what that decision was... I was so hurt I just told him to be happy and safe. He then told me I was a women in every sense of the word I was the most beautiful thing he had ever met. And he wanted to avoid us being sad in the end.

I am left just not knowing, going over conversations in my head. I just want to move on and I know I will but I don't understand what happened it looks black and white I'm sure on papper but I feel lost.
