Why the Ocean Fascinates Me

I think it’s about time I address my deep fascination towards the sea and everything in it.
It could be as simple as saying it’s because I was raised with the ocean in my backyard, but there has always been a deeper curiosity. I know I will always live by the coast, as long as I have something to say about it. I would feel trapped otherwise.

As kids, we played by the shore, and collected nice rocks, trash, shells and everything else that was washed up after storms. I still do this, and I never return from the seacoast empty handed. My pockets are filled with glass, unique stones or other small treasures.

In my house you will always find some kind of stones, sea glass, driftwood or a metal piece that I've brought with me from the ocean. Even if I’ve had to get rid of most of it through the years, I still keep what is precious to me. I try to make use of it by making art, jewlery and décor of what I find, as you can see in some of my previously videos.

I know I belong by the sea, and dream about the day I can move back to a house with waves in the backyard.
