Ответитьhere is a real rice pilaf so trying to cook the right one
ОтветитьDid I hear it right you saying that you love the the boxed rice pilaf, the shit that they serve in mediocre chain restaurants? Errrgh!
I can not blame people for personal taste, but if you are a culinary student and future chef, you should get things right.
That stuff you cooked is not rice pilaf (even considering all regional variations of the dish). It’s just a goo thrown together without any historical considerations. I wonder if you ever tasted a good rice pilaf in Israel or other countries of the Middle East ? If not do yourself a favor, go to a good middle eastern restaurant in the US and try real rice pilaf. Enough said!
OMG this is NOT pilaf...who doesn’t like onions?
ОтветитьR too much
ОтветитьBUTTER? Duh. Why not EVOO Tastier and Healthier!
ОтветитьLet’s eat undercooked rice. 🤦♂️

ОтветитьSadly she needed to research the origins of what pilaf actually is.
Ответить300 gr di riso il doppio di acqua sale
ОтветитьBacon fat used to replace butter for lactose issues
ОтветитьFinally a chef who admits they don't like onions. There are dozens of us onion haters out there
DOZENS!
Did she just forget adding the rice?
ОтветитьThat's not a pilaf and she's not a chef. 😂😂😂
Ответить1, it's not rice pilaf, 2. it's not a side dish
ОтветитьThe best box pilaf is Near East.
ОтветитьHow? Water was poured on the spices then the cooked rice is shown, bad video bad chef ever! 😂
ОтветитьI don't know what's worse; her using water instead of broth or her using a metal fork in a metal pan.
Ответить"Pilaf, or Pilav or Pilow or Pilau means "Rice cooked in stock". How are you going to omit the stock? There is literally only 2 required ingredients, Rice and Stock! Everything else is optional.
Also, There is a special place in hell for a chef that doesn't like onions. As the saying goes, never trust a skinny chef.
You didn’t give measurements for the ingredients… and salt should be added at beginning??? 🤦🏻♀️🤷♀️
Ответитьher vocal fry is insufferable. christ...
