He has a point but he also says he barely cares about MMA and uses Khabib as an example(first of his kind to dominate how he did) instead of islam(took everything Khabib did and refined it) who’s made all of the ugly aspects of Khabibs game beautiful. The art analogy works for video game development too - now they are all so dumb and bad at it that they all think they are forced to use unreal engine. What happens when the unreal dev team dies in a plane crash? Then no one knows how to make a gaming engine anymore.

Sam is right. Boxing is limited and so there is no substitute other than perfecting it. If you and your opponent have the same weapons, you have to be more skilled at using them than your opponent; and as you go up in the levels of skill, you see that imperfections more and more cannot be circumvented just by introducing a random factor into the equation. Like you can’t just throw a kick or start wrestling when your boxing skill is deficient or not on the same level as your opponent’s. You have to strive for perfection and use what you learn to innovate intelligently and it is near impossible to mend the skill gap by introducing something new.

Here in Europe i left school early at 17 to work and at 29 after years of kitchen work and groundskeeper shit, government says hey we pay you bad wage to go to college and study art for 2 years.... And it's free!!!! Niggas being paying you to go college here.... I'm in rhw middle of my second year and even with being paid 200 a week and getting 2 years of college free (other then the work experience and career planning parts)it's fuckin cooked.....

As a hand drawn artist I completely agree. Amateur Digital art always looks the same and like shit (like all digital "manga" artists on twitter) but amateur hand drawn art still looks more substantive.

I understand exactly what you’re trying to convey Sam, constraints, whether they are material or functional, are critical in design, and lack of them leads to bloat and unnecessary ugliness. The artist is able to fully explore the space and express their fullest potential when given limiting factors and a box they are required to stay inside of. Lack of limits leads to modern office buildings and the minimalist beige world we currently occupy

That thumbnail made me realize Nick is the only comedian who could play Elmer Fudd in a live action bugs bunny movie. I’m not saying I want that movie to exist, but if it has to be done Nick would nail it.

Some of the best guitar riffs/licks I've come up with result from me breaking the e string and playing with 5 strings. There's an argument that you're just working around that but I don't agree.

3d printing has like taken over modeling as far as plastics, biomed industries.. CAD still first, usually for patterns that are later printed and utelized by like some form of urethane casting or injection molding.

Art “school”, is crazy to me. If you can’t learn to draw from practice and through observing different techniques, please choose an administrative career. I’m not saying you won’t find a job. P (A ) will tell you that all day long. I’m only trying to save you, your parents, and American tax payers $40,000-$75,000.
