Submerge eggs in question in a large bowl of cold water.
If the eggs float they’re old, if they sink they good.
Once you’ve figured out what eggs are good simply wash, dry, and place them in the fridge. You have washed off their bloom at this point and they’re no longer safe to leave on the counter.

Why does this test work? 👇🏼
As an egg ages, the air pocket inside it grows larger, causing it to float in water.
Really that simple and it’ll save you from a dreaded rotten egg 🤢
