the problem with the iPad seems to be that the people complaining about it don't need a tablet, they need a laptop.

I have to wonder if the movie sharing option can be used for people who are not together. So imagine when a new “budget” version releases and you can effectively go to the movies with family or friends who live in other states.

OK. You guys probably hadn't seen the Tom's Hardware podcast when you recorded this but Judner needs to acknowledge that Apple did address their Apple intelligent misses from last year. It's fine too call Apple out when they do miss, but it's equally fine to give them credit when they do address an issue.

A couple of things about screenshots. Firstly when they were talking about how you can do a full length screenshot i’m a little bit confused as to whether they’re talking about it just being easier because that functionality’s been there for a long time. Are they just talking about how it’s not as hidden anymore? You’ve been able to make long screenshots for several years now. Screenshots of the whole webpage isn’t you. And one thing I wish that they would do with screenshots is a self-destruct timer because when I’m using screenshots in the way that Crystal was talking about such as wanting proof of a receipt or so that you’ll know your tracking number or your order number I also do that kind of thing all the time but then when I go back months and months later, I’ve still got all these useless screenshots in my photos. I wish that when you took a screenshot, it would keep it forever automatically just like it’s doing now but if it’s something like a receipt that you know is only gonna be relevant for a couple weeks or a month or something at the most if your package is coming from China it would be great if the default was keep forever, but you could tap something such as delete in one month or delete in two weeks, this way, it would automatically disappear once you definitely don’t need it anymore without you having to go in and manually delete all these things. This seems like something Apple would definitely do. If they had thought about it, they probably would’ve done it by now.

One gripe that I’ve had for many years now that I just can’t understand why they don’t fix it is the way that we select cut and paste. For the love of God and all things that are good in the world why doesn’t it give you the option to select all in the menu no matter how you tap it? Sometimes it says “select” and then sometimes it says “select“ as well as “select all“. It’s really dumb and clunky Am I the only one that has to tap on the screen and try like three or four times to get the select all option to come up? Sometimes I have to like triple tap sometimes I have to tap and hold. It’s always so clunky and takes forever to do something that should take literally 2 seconds at the most. And then when you’re trying to select just a little bit of the text or you’re trying to get it just right it’s still such a pain in the neck to do. Thankfully, at least they’re keeping a clipboard history now. The only time you wouldn’t want your clipboard history saved is if you did a cut and paste your social security number or on a porn website or something😂 that’s another thing that they could give you an option for choosing to make it delete after a certain amount of time instead of keeping it forever because if there is a clipboard history, you wouldn’t want people to find things like usernames or passwords, which they probably won’t allow people to clip out anyways, when it comes to passwords, but it would be good if you could choose specifically to delete certain clipboard items. But the default should be for it to save them.

I don’t like the liquid glass as is, seems like it could be cool if you have a 24/7 hidden camera on the back of the phone that will provide a live wallpaper with the liquid glass on top. Like if you walking and on your phone, your wallpaper you’ll see your feet, steps and the ground below. A true transparent experience

I love that you all are sitting in a row with the AirPods Max colours matching the WWDC background colours. A nice touch.

A different GUI that’s similar to Windows Vista isn’t that unique.
Readability is a main thing and if the background is complex will make looking at a glance more challenging when everything is etched glass.
I can see this interface causing accidents while users try to read the screen for an app.

I’m a bit disappointed. In iPadOS 18, Apple made the volume and brightness sliders slightly more rounded at the edges that was perfect. But now, in iPadOS 26, they are too rounded, which makes them look less nice. I hope they reverse this change and go back to the style from iPadOS 18, because those sliders looked cleaner and much better. Other than that, everything looks really beautiful, the app designs are impressive. I hope they include this feature in a future beta version. It’s important to me, because I can’t press the button next to my iPad like most people can. I’m also an Apple fan, and I do everything on my iPad Pro with the latest M4 chip. that's where I work for my DJ career 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🤗

I want a clear promise from Apple not to remove or impair features for EU 🇪🇺 users because of DMA, a regulation that many of us do not subscribe to. Right now iPad screen sharing and control and iPhone mirroring are missing here and especially iPhone mirroring is really useful and frustrating that it works in Norway some miles away but not here in Sweden! The Apple market share here is almost as high as in the US which is unusual for the EU market.

EU is now looking at relaxing some rules to facilitate trade so maybe a rewrite of DMA is on the horizon.

That aside I really like the new interface and new features for iPad and also spotlight on Mac.
