Thank you @France24 for an excellent piece regarding Venice Biennale’s incredible indigenous exhibits & artists. The interviews are especially engaging & informative.

Rather disappointing that a large proportion of the program highlighted the US Pavilion, considering that there are over 300 artists represented. The work of the US artist Jeffrey Gibson tends to reflect a Disneyfied version of indigenous contemporary art presented in the political arena that is the biennale formula. However, the representation and interviews with the African representatives was refreshing to see and explore.
