CEFALÙ SICILY | 1 DAY VISIT | TOWN AND BEACH | Italy

A must do from your Palermo visit has to be Cefalù. Gorgeous town and even more gorgeous beach.

We took the train from Palermo Centrale and found ourselves at the charming town of Cefalù in just about an hour. (quickest train is 40min – for € 6.20 pp - one way).

1 Day is not enough in Cefalù, because is so pretty that in our opinion it deserves more time. If you spend at least 2 days you get the chance to equally enjoy the beach and the town.

We had fun at the beach, saw few fish, strolled around the cute narrow streets, had lunch in front of the Cathedral and later visited the stunning church.
If you love shopping, Cefalù gives you plenty of opportunities to happily empty the wallet with cute souvenirs and good quality clothes at the many boutiques you can find around.
