long story short: dont drink and buy the most mainstream or commercial spirits
Ответить"ranked number 8 out of number 12"
You did that twice. Are you new?
So glad I never chased money.
ОтветитьSo you pay a premium for less taste .
ОтветитьAs someone who drank entirely too much vodka in the late 90’s-early 2000’s, I can happily say I never liked Goose and never fell for the faux luxury perception of it. But what did I know? I was just a dumb kid. Which is what everyone told me after they audibly gasped after I said I didn’t like it or want it back then.
ОтветитьAlways thought the Goose was extremely overpriced. Tastes same as SVEDKA or Close to SMIRNOFF. 😆🤣😂
ОтветитьBlah blah blah. We know
ОтветитьProof Americans are not very bright.
ОтветитьPopov vodka is as good as you need for a mixed drink.
ОтветитьYeah whatever, stay in business.
ОтветитьI love laughing at idiots...
ОтветитьWhen I was an engineer I saw an article by a mechanical engineer who was looking at asian sunglass manufacturing as part of an exchange program. He saw the mfg line and saw how sunglasses came down this line then split into several different chutes. One chute when to Oakley, and another to Ray-Ban, etc.. Downstream of the separating chutes was only labeling and packaging. When he got back to the states he went to Target, bought a few cheap sunglasses for like $8 bucks apiece, then bought Oakley sunglasses that looked identical for like $200. He looked at them closely, did measurements, etc. THEY WERE THE EXACT SAME sunglasses. No differences whatsoever, except the labels and packaging.
ОтветитьI haven't drank Grey Goose since my university days, but I never did like it that much. Just thought it tasted harsh, and at that price point it didn't feel worth it. If I wanted to feel 'premium', Belvedere was somewhat cheaper and I thought it tasted better. I thought both were better than Smirnoff or Absolut, but honestly it's still vodka at the end of the day and bottles we had direct access to were just being mixed with random soft drinks and energy drinks so it didn't really matter what the heck it was most of the time. When a bottle of Belvedere showed up, it was just there to provide slightly more pleasant shots.
Anyway I've seen some products out there supposedly ruined by the marketing, or the product forced to change because it wasn't 'marketable enough' and ended up being worse..... well seems like those marketing teams just needed the axe.
It tastes like cheap garbage vodka. Perfect for suckers
ОтветитьIt was overdue being done wth vodka they've been doing it with whisky and gin for a long time. I drink Jack Daniels with lemonade and ice. The JD never varies, and it's available absolutely everywhere. They can keep all overpriced single malt and celebrity endorsed nonsense
ОтветитьSidney Frank was an amazing marketer of a mid-range vodka to fools who believed him
ОтветитьAnd thats why the only Goose i buy is in the gift boxes with a couple glasses the day after christmas. 15 bucks aint bad for that.
Ответитьi always buy cheap bottles and pour them into expensive bottles...the bitches be lit
Ответитьguys... vodka is stripped to the point where you can't tell what it's made from... it doesn't matter what it's made from or who it's made by.
It's realistically gluten free (despite what tito's claims), the gluten matrix can't realistically make it into the distillate (unless you're a shit distiller).
It's all BS, backed by western propaganda and pop-culture reinforced biases.
Do not buy food/bev based on marketing, buy based on experience (personal qualitative assessment) vs cost... full stop.
Lol I always knew it. Tried the stuff in my 20s once, immediately thought “this tastes like that Absolut swill, not something good like Stolichnaya, why would I pay *more*”.
It took more than 10 years until this video proved me right.
fun fact the ying yang twins put out a song about grey goose
Ответитьnice video keep up the good work, new subscriber here.
ОтветитьI drink Russian Standard and Pinnacle. I always saw through the Grey Goose BS
ОтветитьWhat a lot of nonsense---this is nothing new. 1) Seville principle 2) Sell the sizzle, not the steak. This is basic marketing, been done a thousand times.
ОтветитьGrey Goose and a whole lotta hydro
ОтветитьIs Grey Goose a fantastic Vodka? Yes it's very sippable. Is it overpriced? Hell yes, there are far more affordable Polish Vodkas out there of similar or better quality.
ОтветитьSidney frank took care of all his employees as well. When he sold the business he cut his employees in on the sale right down to the warehouse guys
ОтветитьGG gives me a headache
ОтветитьYou lost me when you quoted 'industry executive'...
ОтветитьChat gpt video
ОтветитьWhat did we learned : Try to scam people to buy cheap product with high price and you will be called "True genius"
ОтветитьFire & ice vodka much better
ОтветитьWhere is this "Puh-CARdy region" you speak of? Is it anywhere Picardy? Picardy is pronounced "Pick-ah-dee"...
Americans ,eh?...
it was an instant headache. Forget about it.
ОтветитьYeah it sucked
ОтветитьBeatiful women going around to bars and pouring samples.
ОтветитьI was a big vodka drinker. It gave me a headache. The last half gallon I bought was $25
ОтветитьChat gpt generated scripts.
Ответить5 seconds in and already you're wrong. Absolut was the biggest in 1997. Sweden.
ОтветитьI think the real biggest reason for its success is that it doesn’t taste like complete shit like other vodkas, because it’s not actually vodka. The rest was secondary.
ОтветитьWhen I order vodka, I tell the bartender to give me the closest thing they have to rubbing alcohol. I drink almost exclusively vodka and I can't tell the difference between any of them.
Ответитьbelvedere all. day
ОтветитьI totally was never fooled by the Goose....horrible HORRIBLE stuff...TITO'S for me always...folks go with your taste...fuck expense...you know taste wins...same way with cray cray diddlers vodka...that is also garbage
Ответитьngl, it tastes so much better than Smirnoff lol
ОтветитьMore like a master class on how stupid people are. 😂
ОтветитьPut a couch on the curb for free and nobody wants it. Put a 100 dollar price on it ans someone will steal it before morning
ОтветитьThis is the first time I've heard anything in detail about Grey Goose, I've tasted it and always thought it was cheap and nasty, the packaging, name and especially taste came across like that to me.
ОтветитьWell you tell people the truth about how BS vodka is, they’ll fight you tooth and nail to maintain their delusion. The latest one is Tito’s.
Ответить
