I think I'm weird, I don't own and have no desire to own a white button up shirt. It's not that I don't think it looks stylish it's just that on me it makes me think of school uniform.
ОтветитьGreat video! Perhaps Cropped tops (not too short) .... maybe ones that hit just below the bellie button...will be a classic trend too?
ОтветитьHi Anna i am not into cowboy boots . And not so much in leather. Although if i see something very elegant, more so like vintage Chanel leather, i am getting it. I love my baggy jeans trend. I am tall. It fits me great. Its comfortable. Straight leg not as baggy , but not too tight, i love it too. Well to me , since i found Margiela jeans, i am good. I like little bit more trouser look of jeans for fall. I dont miss skinny jeans at all. I wear only one pair of those. Well they are not completely skinny, i guess they are equestrian style jeans from Chanel, and i wear them every winter a few times🤪 belts so important. Love skinny love wider ones. Actually obi belt one, is on my wishlist hopefully for next month, well if economy doesnt collapse😱😳🤪😂 Have a blessed day🙏🧡
ОтветитьTotally agree!!
ОтветитьBoots, leather, wht shirts and belts are not trends. Always classics.👍🏼
ОтветитьI absolutely love the cream color mini skirt with cream top and belt boots combo. Wish the skirt cost a little less. If you find any dupes let us know. Looks very nice. I am one of those scared of belts but going to try. Thanks
ОтветитьDead on Anna. Good Job.
ОтветитьYes I agree totally! I think boot cut jeans work too.
ОтветитьCertain belt styles may go out of style. But hold onto them because they will come back because there is only so much you can do with a belt😂
ОтветитьAs an hourglass fitted shirts are a must for me. My shape is not conducive to anything loose fitting. Oversized makes me look twice as big as I really am. However, I am ecstatic about the end of the skinny jean era.
ОтветитьSpot on!
ОтветитьI agree with your pick
I’d add hats to it
Thank you for sharing
Glad to see that arm is doing a lot better and therapy got you moving it. Yeah, being a big chested gal, I totally was so happy with the stretchy fitted button up shirts, but I bought them larger so not to get that pull. I still have them because they will still work for smoother layering. You are so right with the sweater dressing because since I am 60, I have these types of items that I purchased in my 30s and I still wear but it also includes 2 pc. sweater skirt set. I am in love with the genuine leather accessories and garments because they are built to last. I have all type of jeans and I never just stuck to anyone kind, I am a wide leg fan for pants any way, but the fitted jeans work well when you want to tuck them into jeans. I had stated in a commit in your previous video that cowboy boots were a shoe I wanted since I was a kid, and they just were not affordable, but I finally found out that I could thrift them recently and I have gone crazy with it but once they trend the price went up at the thrift. I also have been wearing trench coats forever, it was like a graduation from being a kid in rubbery raincoat with goloshes. Great video! Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
ОтветитьWhat about midi and maxi skirts?, are they classics?
ОтветитьI love your videos I would like to request a video for larger breasted women who are not overweight: how to wear turtlenecks, how to wear double breasted blazers etc. Thanking you in advance.
ОтветитьI have a 34F bust and am not overweight. I see that you had what I've always been taught was a major fashion mistake of a "double bubble" with bulging breasts above your bra line in those knit dresses. Am I just old-fashioned? What silhouette do we go for? Really don't want the dreaded crack on top or bullets either.
ОтветитьAnna, can you link me to the bra you wear with high neck tanks? Thank you!
ОтветитьI agree with your picks!
ОтветитьI agree because none of what you consider to be classic is extreme or a fad. it’s all wearable and therefore more likely to maintain longevity.
ОтветитьDefinitely agree with you 👍In fact I just added cowboy boots to my “Buy/Consider” list even though I am moving to Dubai and may find them a little warm.
I especially agree with straight jeans. I believe skinny jeans only really look good on people with the perfect body shape for them, which is very few people. They usually make most people look fatter even if thin. I am still looking for the perfect pair of straight leg jeans-hoping to find more options this fall.
Just discovered your channel a few weeks ago and have really been enjoying your videos. 😊
Thanks for validating my choice of straight leg jeans. I am currently working to fit a smaller size, but still not sure the skinny jean would ever work for me. And I will be reminding myself to pull out my long forgotten Justins and Laredos. Also, to tell you what you already know, hang on to that big buckled black belt. It looks great with everything!
ОтветитьYes, I like your choices 👍🏼
ОтветитьSkinny jeans will never go out of style, yet I love straight leg
ОтветитьI like your ideas about fashion you put all your clothes and outfits together and you have helped me a lot I want to thankyou.
ОтветитьThank you for the great suggestion. I love straight jeans that are so classy and timeless, I can't get enough of belts, they are such a fun accessory!
ОтветитьI have 3 pair of cowboy boots. A very traditional dark brown leather, (real $#😉 Kickers) that I love! a square toe brown and turquoise calf height, and high calf black point toe! Love them wear them with dresses all and skinny jeans, but maybe about 1 time each. But when I want them I'm glad I have them.
ОтветитьAbsolutely no cowboy boots for me. As well as cargo pants or shakets. All the rest yes please.
ОтветитьYou never disappoint ! Love your videos , what I liked about this o e is that I learned I’m doing somethings right because what you suggested I do some of these things .😂😂
ОтветитьI’m agree with you!! I love tour videos!!😊
ОтветитьHeeeey Anna❣️👋🏾I thrifted a men's tuxedo white shirt and cropped it to my waist length, not sure I will keep it🤔 I have all the jeans, straight legged is nice and wides are cool to me. I have shorted Cowboy boots, still looking for the norm height ones that are me. Great vlog as Always, I appreciate all you do in these Fashion streets for us💕👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
ОтветитьI always love watching your videos! :) I feel like as I've gotten more into fashion and had more experience, I've learned that there is no such thing as classic. At least for me! I do agree about the cowboy boots though, always in style. There are things, like skinny jeans, fitted/loose button ups, that may be popular for over a decade, but then fade out. It's just that the cuts change, but the items themselves are classic. I guess that I think there are certain broad things like prints, materials, colors, and types of items that are classic, but it is the details and cuts that throw a wrench in the "classics." Does that make sense?! I also think that wide leg jeans/pants are going to be here for the next decade, but I probably feel like that because I just looove them so much! I need help differentiating 1-2 season fads from trends that define a decade!
ОтветитьAnne what's on the back of your arm?
ОтветитьCowboy boots have pointed toes because they were worn when riding horses and they had to slide easily into the stirrup - Form follows function
ОтветитьA mid- to high-rise medium-wash bootcut or straight leg jean is a classic imo. The only thing that can make them look dated is the wash, bling, distressed look, very low rise, etc.
I wouldn't be caught dead in any of those, and as a tall plus-sized woman, skinny jeans make me look like an ice-cream cone! 🍦😂
Crazy as it sounds I can not find a good white button down shirt or a nice sweater dress…
ОтветитьFix your lamp shade lol
ОтветитьSo those are really fancy "cowboy boots" - my boots are working boots.
ОтветитьI love your wide cognac belt. Can I ask where you got that
ОтветитьI will always love leather Jackets and pants. I am trying to incorporate cowboy boots.
ОтветитьLove the jeans, boots, Leather are great
ОтветитьI’m guessing the button down shirt is your favorite thing to wear in the whole world because you bring up that button down shirt in a lot! of your videos
ОтветитьI wish ALL my Skirts and dresses had high slits! I just think that is the sexiest while simultaneously classy look ever. Ever since binge watching moonlighting recently and noticing everything Cybil Shepard wore had a high slit and she looked stunning. Even though most of the time her pumps were about one or 2 inches high because she is a naturally tall woman. And for me the slit is especially appealing because it gives just a peek and cleverly camouflages any imperfections. Legs have a lot of real estate and there’s a lot of room for things to go wrong on legs. So this is the perfect solution. Now as for bubble skirts, I actually have a very reasonable knee length one that I just loved and bought about 10 years ago and maybe wore once. So maybe it’s a good thing that I don’t throw things away? Making me think I should just box stuff up and put it away until I start missing them again. Like my skinny jeans. I also went on a crochet and gauzy Lacey blouse binge a couple of summers ago. Again some thing I barely wore, and was considering dumping all of them, and now I’m thinking maybe I can get some use out of them after all. I will have to see if I really feel like wearing them. Despite the fact that they may be making a come back.
ОтветитьNever wore skinny jeans, not comfortable or flattering. For me. Love fuller cut jeans even though I’m REALLY short, don’t care. I agree with you observations. Thanks
ОтветитьWear moto and cowboy boots. But I also wear loafers depending on my outfit. Also wear Chanel, crazy right!!
ОтветитьI am one of those motorcycle-riding leather-jacket-wearing super nice people you might see out there. I’m so pleased that my beautiful black investment piece moto jacket lives a double life both on my bike and out on the town. I might also be wearing my Dan Post cowboy boots. ❤ Love your channel.
ОтветитьNot going to do sweater dresses again; they're too warm and snug fitting. Skinny jeans are wonderful for the body shape known as the apple. I am an hour glass and enjoy straight leg. Many blessings to you and your family in the coming year!
ОтветитьLove the white button up shirts. I didn't buy one yet, but I would love too. I don't want to start searching online, because I don't know what style and size would look good on me. What brand sells a nice one?
ОтветитьGee , never even thought of cream leather. Thanks Anna ❤😊
