Thank you for this video, now I know where I need to make improvements in my resume and portfolio. It also shows how important networking is, but man is it tough to meet the right people and not feel like you're just using them lol.
ОтветитьYou don’t understand how valuable this video is . I want to say how great this actually is from someone who is transitioning into tech with a background in marketing because usually for marketing portfolios I don’t have one. I just know how to do strategy and content, but the details that you went through in the stages and letting us know that recruiters want to see creativity they want to see something and not just words on a paper,
ОтветитьCan you make a video on portfolio projects that are based on the prep projects that you say like they’re not really good enough versus the projects that really stand out?
ОтветитьI love this, I’m trying to get into product marketing with no experience, I have 5 years in marketing but not technical product marketing, but I love you created this
ОтветитьThis is one of the many reasons why I’ve been unemployed for over a year, & can’t have a career…Discrimination via networking. Thank you so much for this insight!
A note: my Resume is about 4 pages long, tailored & designed for easy skimming, meets qualifications & job responsibilities. I believe a recruiter, company, etc. stoled my Resume design. It’s now available for free online and advertised as the “new style/trend”.
Edit To clarify, my frustration & anger is more …. how can I put this nicely. Networking is challenging for people who have medical conditions, trauma (kidnapping, abuse..it gets too dark), etc.. When a job is given via “networking”, it harms & excludes the disabled community.
What if the Candidates ChatGPT the answers to your questions?
ОтветитьInteresting. 😃👍
ОтветитьI just started looking last week and I'm being overwhelmed with calls from recruiters and have had 2 interviews so far this week.
ОтветитьThis is really informative. Thanks!
ОтветитьGeneric observation but this just makes me think 'supply and demand'. Maybe anecdotal but feels like tech workers are in much higher supply so employers can get closer to the ideal than the reverse. Probably worth thinking about your competition if you're looking for a job.
Ответитьher feedback at the second half of this video is gold. Thanks Tina
ОтветитьI'm 15 years in the game and currently interviewing (once again) - this was super informative, thanks Tina 🙌
Ответить❤
ОтветитьOmg I wanna marry you 🥰. Your like the my waifu dream wife lol.
ОтветитьYour hair is wet
ОтветитьTina this is a such an eye opening content for me who is currently looking for job opening at the moment. Thank you for showcasing the entire screening process from the hiring perspective. Even for me who has been working in the industry for awhile, this is such a great education to be able to caught up with the current trend 😃
ОтветитьI cannot finish the video without leaving a positive comment this time, as a freshly graduated SE this was very helpful to understand the pov of an employer and how their thought process goes, awesome content indeed, thank you tina
Ответить🤣😂😁😁😁It is useful maybe for some beginners after school but not for professionals with lot of experience and used tools! There is no free space for many tools!
ОтветитьAre you guys still hiring for a Data Analyst Role? 😬
