Vintage Melmac Dishes!

Wow :) this really made me smile. I love all the beautiful patterns. I grew up in a large family. In the sixties our everyday dishes were melmac. They were in pastel shades but for some reason we had one red tumbler - which we all fought over LOL.

Love it, I've been searching for my Grandma s melamine for so long now 🙂

You guys really know how to put on a show. All the research! I haven't thought of this for years. The set I remember my nan having was a basic tan. Came from Manhattan College. My pop pop worked as a porter in the cafeteria & when they replaced sets he'd bring the old stuff home. Gobs of it. My mom & aunt even had some.

It is hard to describe how much of this stuff I had seen in campers in the 70's, I think alot of old shasta canned campers might be filled with these.

I was given a box full of these, several sets. facebook market, listed $20 she gave them to me for FREE, she wanted them to have a nice home :)
