Playing through the game and I am constantly thinking to myself "whoever voiced Clive did amazing" ... Now i know his face and name lol. He gave Clive such great emotions. Legit may be my new favorite VA for a lead male. Def top 3.

I have been playing FF Games since 1997, I went into FF16 completely blind and avoided all spoilers this entire time and it's up there as one of my favourites!

Loved the characters, Gav an Jill were my favourites that revolved around Clive.

I really didn't like XVI, but Ben's performance as Clive was a highlight for sure. His writing and characterization felt very flat and one-dimensional, and yet Clive is now a fan favorite - it's like 90% down to that incredible performance (and 10% to Clive being hot af lmao)

Absolutely amazing as Clive. Couldn’t have been anyone else.

I just imagine the look on his face as a FF fan as he’s reading the somewhat classified script and sees the mentions of crystals, Cid, and Ifrit in his lines.

This guy is one of the best voice actors I've seen so far. Loved his Clive (FFXVI) performance.

He is such an amazing voice actor, I loved ff16 so much I wished there was more after the dlc's.

Ben and Matt both got effectively pranked into being main characters for the franchise, thats hilarious.
Granted, Ben had the more traditional role of steadily being shown what he was doing as opposed to Matt being straight up pranked.

I have only one gripe about Clive. He constantly talks in whispers in the cutscenes I want to hear the guy speak not give an asmr performance.

And he loved being in a FF game being a huge FF fan with FF8 being his favourite. And he crushed it as Clive. Now he's Khazan from the First Berzerker: Khazan, he's in Hades 2 and Verso in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Dude is quickly becoming gaming royalty

hey when is the next publisher sale, i was a dumb and didn’t take advantage of picking up and FF games on sale.

He CRUSHED this role, he was SO good. No spoilers but every time I cried in this game (which was like THREE TIMES which is a lot for me considering I don't usually cry at all) it was because the pain or grief in Clive's voice sucker punched me in the empathy bone

Ben was so good, I hope he becomes an FF mainstay and voices more characters for the series

While they gave him a bogus name for the game initially, giving any FF fans namea like Cid, Ifrit or Biggs and Wedge, etc., is a dead giveaway.

Im so happy for these two on getting these big roles, i just wish that the Old FF7 VAs were given a chance to reprise thier roles in the remake instead of being replaced.
