Mortgage Rates Dropping Shop it Around

Mortgage rates are dropping fast and it’s important to never accept the quoted rate a bank gives you even with a 100-200 BP discount. Often times they can still sharpen their pencil and give a far better rate if you ask or perhaps shop around for the lowest rate you can find, and then ask if they can match it. This bit of work can save 10’s of thousands in interest payments over the life of your mortgage!
