This is super wholesome. A perfect example of learning the differences between cultures, without jumping to judgement. And appreciating the work and skill that we all as women put into our appearance. Especially taking into account the stigmas against Black women . This was really enjoyable to watch as a Black woman.

i found it stereotypical to say why black girls wear wigs im a black girl who never wore a wig or extensions ever in my life assumptions like these make people ask me if my hair is fake i have loose curls long wavy hair black people come in different hair textures skin colors and different features and so on

We also do it because we like how it looks we dont put on wigs just to fit in or not deal with racism its not hard getting a job with curly hair as long as you maintain and take care of it. This also just shows one form of makeup there are also natural hair and makeup looks that we do but overal this video was pretty cool

I loved this video. I love that they thought the ladies looked professional and stylish because black women celebrities often had to do their own hair and makeup on movie sets and such because professionals in those fields were often just NOT taught how to do our hair and makeup.

Our hair can be style many ways and style that look fabulous. I love it

I’ve luckily never had much discrimination for my hair and I wear it in all sorts of colors and styles now. However growing up it was always manipulated in a way where I had no idea what it looked like truly curly. Not in a braid or twists or straight. Times have changed a lot and I love these women for being kind to us as a whole.

It depends on the area, I would say now more than ever curly hair is loved, I’ve had curly hair my whole life (I’m Puerto Rican) and (my black brother snd sister) all have curly hair, it’s not bullying, I would say wigs are more of a trendy thing, it is true that in some places having certain “BRAIDS” is seen as unprofessional, but I would say curly hair no, also it really depends on the organization as people are now waking up and accepting all hairstyles into professional settings.

Most only wear braids thier hair with hair extensions or carry natural hair,we only were wigs sometimes if going outing or maybe their hair is rough and it a quick solution
