Seriously?? A STATE INSPECTION for our birds.

I don't understand why any fish & game departments focus any attention on pheasants. They are NOT native birds! They only survive in the "wild" in the immediate vicinity of farmland, and otherwise are found in captivity on farms or game hunting operations. That kinda makes them a farm animal, if you ask me! Wild turkeys and quails, it makes sense, as they ARE native birds found in the wild...

I really enjoyed your video and especially the part where the children were playing in the garage and coming up towards the camera. You have very nice birds! I took some snapshots off of your video because I’m an artist and you had several chickens and the one pheasant I would love to do a watercolor painting of. I am a cancer survivor but I’ve not been able to do any painting for a while and last year on my 10th anniversary some friends from church bought me new brushes that were custom from the UK and I’m hoping to get to use them soon. I just hope my pictures are good enough to work off of… anyway I’m excited for the new Aviary! That will be just amazing for All of Your Birds

I had emus growing up because my family ran an animal rehabilitation center I’ve never seen such light colored emus before how come your emus are so blonde ?

i mean i think everyone should need to pass a test of animal welfare, care, and knowledge to even own a dog or a cat so I don't think an inspection is out of line.

I have Belifelder Chickens and they are of German decent I have a broody hen who has sat for a while but with no eggs.... I placed some Maran eggs under her and I can see developing chick's but every time she ends up busting one then abandoning the nest leaving the eggs cold any advice???

My mandarins sat on the impeyan eggs, brought them to hatch!
The eggs are nearly identical
I had gorgeous pigeons, and Bob whites as well. Only small parrots and kitties now, though.
Gorgeous white mandarin hens, never seen them.

Im very surprised that you can get by leaving any of your birds to roost outside in a tree. I tried that years ago, and the barred owls picked me clean in short order. We free range our guineas and chickens, and once the hawks migrate in the spring, they get out every day till fall! But they go in every night or they wouldn’t be here! I enjoy your videos. That setting looks like northern Mo, and Im in NE Ks, so Im guessing we are almost neighbors!

I don't believe I would let the law push me around like that. They come for the pheasants, thats all they will be shown. They keep pushing, they are going to hit a wall.

The emus are so funny when they get the zoomies. You have an interesting assortment of animals. Sending animals without notice is a bad Idea. Thankfully he could take time to build a habitat for them.
