People don't know the easiest hypnotic to procure is kbr. Potassium bromide was used for centuries as a soporific. Nabr, sodium bromide is seldom used as the na+ raises the bp in older individuals.

Other analogues like cloroqualone, etaqualone and diproqualone were developed in france from 1950 to 1966. Used as antitussives, muscle relaxants for neuralgia, mild anxiolytics and moderate potency hypnotics. But was pulled off market by 1970 due to reports of abuse and toxicity. Other analogues were manufactured in clandestine labs jn Germany and Poland for use as street drugs. Some analogues are still prevalent in Underground Rave clubs in Russia as cheap dissociative drugs, cheaper than ketamine or etomidate or xylazine. The downside of all these analogues is the eventual renal disorders and the occasional cerebral inflammation and death, if you od'd.

I tried Methqualone, or at least some Methqualone analogue, and by God it's impossible to overstate how good it is. A lot will say "It was probably just some benzo / opioid", but I've tried dozens of dozens of different prescription benzos, probably 30-odd Research Chem benzos, no end of opioids, natural and synthetic, "normal" and research chemical, and quite a few barbituate too.

Qualuudes, it's difficult to explain. Imagine a high-flying hedge fund manager. Swaggers around all day in a £10,000 suit. Closing million-dollar deals every half hour, shagging all four of his beautiful secretaries, drinking expensive booze at lunch, eating caviar like crisps.

That's what you feel like. Unlimited confidence, EVERYTHING is going just right, not a care in the world, intimidated by nothing, you ARE the coolest guy on earth.

That's what it feels like, but without any real intoxication. You don't get wired like on speed or coke, you don't get sluggish or drowsy like benzos or opioids. Sort of like the pill from Limitless, except rather than making you super-smart, it makes you super-cool.

Though, any doses after that first dose, it starts to act more like a simple anxiolytic sedative, sort of like many barbituates.
