I bought the kit w see thru lock and bunch of tools. It’s been four day and I still haven’t opened the lock by picking. Non of the tools work. Ive used tensioners, rakes, single picks, ….. The pins never lock upward. Maybe the acrylic body is bent. The actual key that it came with works the lock fine. I may have been sold an un-pickable lock by accident in lock picking kit. Just my luck.

Tried the tools on three other locks. One opened once and never again.

I am not enjoying this hobby…

Is that any way to notice if the pins are in the right position?

I watched someone pick a lock on Columbo (Murder With Too Many Notes), and it got me interested.

My only question is How do you get and know when all the pins are aligned, or did I miss something?

Completely looked into this video because I misplaced my locked closet key holding our companies T-shirts, safety glasses, hard hats, lens wipes, ear plugs, and etc. accidentally took the key home. This video is so much more helpful than the crappy one I watched at work😂 thank you, saved my life. Now I know how to break into my own responsibilities to get some new guys some shirts…note: I always put away the key as soon as I’m done, but there are googans, or goofies, or simply known retards. (Like myself ) just let myself get distracted with one of the guys asking for a hat and pocketed the key in my back pocket. Won’t be doing this again. Thank you.

I dont get it. I dont feel any binding pins, no matter the tension. And for some reason, the pixk gets twisted and stuck in the entrance of the lock... sometimes i struggle pushing the pick in.. i dont know where to put the pick in the keyhold and this video isnt very intuitive. Asking for help instead of being ignored like usual 🙁

I can do it on the transparent lock pretty consistently but it’s harder when you can’t see the pins, I guess you start getting a feel for it though after some practice

You can drill locks that are mounted but learning to pick them fast is useful or learning to make toothbrush autopickers
