Thanks for posting - I was there yesterday too and waiting for someone to post so I could relive it!

When you have a Bob Dylan story about a song, and don’t tell it. There is still power in Ryan, but he isn’t using it to create anymore. Sad face.

His voice tells a story and that's what makes it so powerful to listen to. Thanks for sharing

Does he have a child?

Ryan was meant to play here in Auckland NZ earlier this year, but had to cancel a month or so before the date. Was so disappointing but I'm sure he had his reasons. Still hanging out for my first RA live experience!

That banter is pretty inscrutable. First, the mention of his apparently having a 3.5 year old son named Oscar. Second, the stuff about 'alliteration' in Winding Wheel. He must mean, 'allusion'? There's not much by way of alliteration (repetition of first consonants) in what he quotes, and alliteration is not a technique of metaphor.
