Can non-Catholics receive grace without the sacraments?

i have heard the only way to get into heaven is to follow the 10 commandments.

The #1 guaranteed way to get God's grace (other than the sacraments) is to PRAY THE ROSARY.

When Jesus spoke to Paul "My grace is sufficient for you", He said this because Paul wanted the thorn to be removed that God gave him, a messenger of satan to torture him. How did St Paul receive Jesus' grace? Through the sacraments. If any one has any doubts on this look what he said in 1Corinthians 11: 23-32

I'm one of those married couples who have struggled due to my conversion to the Catholic Faith. I entered the Church on May 24, 2008 Vigil Feast of Corpus Christi. My decision to leave Methodism nearly broke up my marriage, but by God's grace, it took 4 years for my wife to regularly attend Mass with me every week since Easter 2012. I don't think she's quite there yet as far as entering RCIA, but it's a huge step forward for us. My wife's name is also Danielle. Please pray for her.

I had questions about Catholicism, I was confirmed this past Easter 2012, I found that Catholics believe what I believe, and they dont budge, or dont fall to political correctness like most churches do, I found that Catholics are more serious about worshipping Christ than other denominations. I felt more at Home. I would say to those who are in a Marriage where your spouse expects YOU to have the same faith is wrong, remember, its about YOUR walk with Jesus, not your spouse.

my husban was a pagan a100%, i am catholic by generations in my family,never invited him to church,or comment anything about my faith,he dislikes christians and more catholics, I don't now a what time the holly spirit call him,but he convert 3 yrs.ago and now hes teaching RICA, an want to be a Dicken ,and GOD has one more soldier,thankyou holly mother Marry for helping me to pray,GOD hear us.

That is incorrect, because the only way into heaven is through Christ Jesus, and by Grace. No one can follow the ten commandments to the fullest, only Christ did, and that is how he paved the way to heaven through His blood sacrifice. I am saved by Grace through Faith.

The graces that come from the sacraments come from God. There is no contradiction. God Bless.

Use a green scapular, JH. Place it under her side of the mattress and pray every day, once for her, once for yourself, "Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death". Rome Sweet Home is an awesome book! Everyone should read it. I'm a 22 year old college kid and I was starting to drift away from my Catholic up bringing but the book has really put things into perspective for me and has helped me on my way back to the Catholic faith. Protestants can be very convincing until some research is done. I was born Catholic but now am truly learning what it means to be Catholic and everything that we believe and why. Please pray for me and my Protestant girlfriend.

Hi. By the way. If someone is raised atheist (indoctrinated by his or her atheist parents) reaches age of reason becomes a great scientist. Is his virtues, his knowledge especially the same virtue we get from the Holy Spirit? Or that virtue of knowledge, that grace (are virtues grace btw?) is not really of the Holy Spirit since he didn't receive the Holy Spirit not being baptized? If it's not virtue, what is he using to gain knowledge & where does it come from? Thank you. God bless.

To StevenDeMagnus: no, you don't have to be baptized to receive virtues of the holy spirit. You are more open to those gifts if you are baptized but you can receive them without baptism. God doesn't just forget about you just because you arn't baptized :) I hope this was helpful

Grace is given as a gift , we can not earn grace or do any thing to merit  it,  it is given by faith ,Ephesians  2: 8-9 you receive it u have it,

God Bless you,! Also, Daniel can pray the rosary for her husband and family. Our Blessed Mother is the Mother of Jesus and Mother of all. Anyone can learn to pray the rosary since most people have access to the internet. There are many good rosary videos/audios that teach this prayer which may seem boring but it is the prayer of the humble. She could also ask a local Catholic Priest for a rosary pamphlet if there isn't one in The Church. Also, Satan and his legions hate the rosary so don't be surprised if you run into obstacles trying to find, learn and pray this meditation on the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ! This prayer offers 15 promises which are Most Powerful for those who believe! God cares about his little ones!!! Jesus has not forgotten them and He can work through anyone He choses! Amen!

Jesus told 12 apostles to go first to Israel  not to gentiles.  1st council was about can gentiles come in to Church.

This is why we profess that there is no salvation outside the Church". It's pretty clear that they (Protestants) are wasting their time on earth if they seek salvation outside the Church. Those that believe otherwise may lose their salvation because they prefer the man made doctrine of "political correctness " then the doctrine and tradition of the Church that Jesus founded.

Susan Laruso,please,how could you advised to a protestant to worhip the Blessed Sacrament in fact they don't believe in the real presence of Jesus Christ,they considered it as symbol only. I would also recommend praying the Rosary daily. It is so powerful, focusing on aspects of Christ's life as you pray, that it will start to transform your faith.
