Thank you very much for the review! Interesting that you consider it as somewhat challenging. I already sampled Cockatiel and just love the unique, unusual smell. Hyrax which is one of my Zoologist all time favorites is also made by Sven. He is just a genius. 😍

Everyone talks about how white florals can be challenging in high doses but its yellow florals that can truly overwhelm you if you aren't used to them (which most people aren't because they aren't nearly as popular or used as often). I'm eager to try this and see how they used them.

Interesting, I can see how the raspberry and rhubarb might be perceived as medicinal, that opening on me it only lasted about 20 mins, then it moves into a powdered sugar sparkling french macaron smell. I cant wait for it to be available for purchase though! very unique!

Wow I was hoping Cockatiel was good. Could you do a follow up review. I love Zoologist. I have Elephant, Civet, Hyrax, Chipmunk and Beaver. I am looking to add more.

I do try but I can’t love cockatiel. 😢the smell is very challenging to my and make me feel very uncomfortable 😣. And of course that is my opinion May be other people will love it.
Harvest mouse is my favorite one.

Animalic, are you for real?? Fresh, light, nothing medicinal, nothing animalic...

I know that this was one that predated the zoologist line , but as someone who has cockatiels (five ) , I feel like this is on point . Great stand alone or great layering perfume . Love the review also ❤.. absolutely gorgeous fragrance .. edit I get a lot of powder .. retro .. better than old Chanels .. better than house of guerlain… truly classic and I love that zoologist is cruelty free

One of the most vile fragrances I've ever smelled. Smells strongly of mucinex along with something rancid. Like a mix of mucinex, rancid fruit, and stomach acid. I have 10 parrots at home, and I wanted to at least like it.

Is there any thoughts about the drydown ? The first 20 minutes is a different experience than the later part of the perfume. I like elephant and dodobird yuzu.
