Omg All this time, I’ve been using antibacterial soap

do i do this once everyday? or can i do it twice? i have oily skin and my nose gets oily really fast lol

am i supposed to do this everyday?

Does boiled water work?

do you take the jewelry out when you do it? i have an acrylic tapers in my ear.

can u use himalayan pink salt as well to clean it?

I gallon of distilled water
4tsp natural sea salt

If I dunk my nose in to soak my nostril piercing, is it ok with a septum in?
The reason I ask is because my piercer advised against using anything except bottled water on the septum as its self healing.

How about a nipple piercing?

I have 3 body parts with different piercings (nose, both ears) can I use the same water in the cup or do I need to swap out the water after each use?

I do this once (2x if my septum piercing is sore) I soak for about 10mins then I give the inside a wipe with a q-tip then rinse it with regular water and then blot dry

I was wondering if I’m supposed to moisturize and what to use or was the lady at the store just trying to sell me stuff that I don’t really need.

I got the corse sea salt (big pieces of salt) do i need to crush it to measure correctly??

The women who periced my industrial last wk told me every time I get in the shower to push it up and down to help get rid of the scabs. She said depending on the person it will hurt for a couple months which it hurt bad the first day but as of right now it doesn't hurt unless you touch the ear near the industrial and it didn't really scab yet.

When is it ok to start doing soaks? Do you have to wait a few days after getting pierced or is ok to do on the first day? I’m finding mixed replies online.

Im a little confused on my piercing now.

I got my nostril pierced January 13 2024, she put in a corkscrew / L shaped jewelry.
She told me to clean it twice a day by taking a saline spray, spraying it into the cap, and dipping q-tips into it and cleaning the outside and inside. She also told me to try and slightly lift the jewelry out to clean the underside.

I've been doing that and I had an irritation bump cause I accidently bumped it in my sleep. So I added a piercing bump solution and its been working nicely, the bump on the outside is almost gone and now I'm starting to apply it more often to the inside to get rid of that mini bump. She also recommended doing sea salt soaks every once in a while and using tea tree oil.

Is what she's telling me and what I'm doing actually okay and is my piercing going to heal at some point?
along with my nostril questions, Ive had my ears pierced since I was an itty bitty baby and they're healed, but I'm starting to gauge them.

I put in a 14g taper and I've had it in for a day now. BTW I haven't really ever used saline spray on my ears since they've been healed for a long time. Last night I put in the taper and used saline spray, my ears don't hurt at all. I did some research, should I really use some form of oil, is it necessary? and I'm wanting to go up to 0g, but I also want to wear these hoop earrings someday, is it possible to do that without looking stupid? I tried looking up pictures but there were either very very small hoops, or their ears were gauged huuuge.

Sorry if I sound REALLY dumb, I need like absolute step by step instructions, and Im still a minor, I am not highly educated. 😭😭

Diluted antibacterial soap is the only thing that worked for my septum. Sea salt solutions turn my piercings into sores. Why?

How many times a day? Can be replaced sea salt solution with saline solution?

Im using bottled water instead of distilled water because i can't afford to get a new spray of neilmeds until next month and using iodized salt because i trust my husbands advice on which salt is healthier( he's never led me wrong before and we've been together almost 15 years)

I ran out of NeilMed stray, so i made a saltwater micture(obv with boiled water and lhen let the mixture cool) and put it in a sterilized spray botte, works the same as NeiMed

Why can’t you use a plastic cup if most people are literally buying distilled water from a plastic gallon
