Q ACOUSTICS 3020i VS B&W 805 D3

More texture in the mid range on BW, but the QA sound very very good. BW much fuller rich sound.

The Q's sound great until the B&W's start playing :) ... B&W's are more alive and have a huge soundstage, as they should for like 15X the price of the Q's.

What is the first?

The Q’s had a more natural sound, more even sound, all I could hear from the B & W’s are all highs, lack of mids and bass.

B&W for me it has a better sound quality and a fuller sound.

B/W was a bit tiring, it hurts my ears, too fast for me, 3020i is more relax, it has different depth.

The simbalace in the recording makes it difficult to listen to. But I do like the sound of the B&W’s best. Would ave liked a little more dynamic selection.Thanks for the video. Oh, almost forgot, is that single malt ?

Bowers&wilkins B&W are very overrated. I had three pairs of them. When I bought the Q, I saw a sound image for the first time. That says it all..! Not to mention the price of the Q.

Q is closer to neutral while B & W is forwarded and sharp, with less bass, but cleaner vocals.

My wife says she prefers Q. She has nothing knowledge about speakers, and the prices…

Q Acoustic sounded the best overall. Very neutral and natural compared to the Midrange bias on the B&Ws

Great video. Those q 3020i really give the b & w's a run for their money... Considering the £4500 price difference... I'd have to give it to q3020i's.

Some people complain about poor bass response with Q3020i. How did you find lower frequencies with them?

I bought the 3020i the day before yesterday, only waiting on Cables from Amazon , for the Money best Speakers, but 8000$ Speakers vs 340$ Speakers. 🤣

BW lack a bit on midrange warmth, a little too trebly, not as natural.

Which is better Elac Debut 6.2, Q Acoustics 3020i or Dali Spektor 2? These are my options actually. I want warm, rich sound, and wide soundstage. Thanks

They both sound good ,the Q acoustics are much cheaper though .With the difference i would add a REL sub or 2 for the bottom octave .Or a pair of Q acoustics concept 500 like mine , job done .

The B&W speaker has the superior sound,,the 3020i could be considered Giant killers and by no means Disgraced,,,, if I had that sort money it would definitely be the 3020i and spend the rest on Beer !!!

both great speaker i personaly own multiple q acoustics like 1000ci,1010i, 1020i, also 3010, 3090c,
a good friend ownd the ground standing version of those B&W's.

Both sound great.

I’m getting back into the hobby. I find myself replacing every speaker with a Q Acoustic after the new wears off. Their speakers are just fun with anything I throw at them, if that makes any sense.

B&W always seem to have a nazel sound in the midrange

Qs… more harmonic richness, more sophisticated and proportional highs. BWs, fatiguing, quickly.
I have the reticent Concept 500s btw.
