Your honesty is refreshing and so commendable. I really enjoy your videos, Thank You ;-)
ОтветитьHow bad does the smoke get in the Tipi? Does it go straight up pretty much from convection?
ОтветитьHe's absolutely amazing! This world should be blessed with his presence. So kind and caring. One of the best teachers and sharers of knowledge.
ОтветитьWholesome entertainment
ОтветитьFinn you are the best!
ОтветитьNext time to make your circle for the teepi push a stake innthe ground and tie a rope or string to it that measures out 20' then use that as a guide for your pole bases to be seated on the ground. Will be a perfect circle.
ОтветитьFull Stop again🛑🛑
ОтветитьHey Greg! Get a jug or two of vinegar to clean your S/S pots and pans fill them up with straight vinegar and boil it for at least 30 minutes. The pot that has the black build up on the rim, boil it face down in a roaster pan with about 2” of vinegar. Let it cool down to the touch and then scour it off. You can also use sand to scrub it.
To remove bluing or greyish stains on S/S cookware, heat up some vinegar in it and let it sit until the stains go away. 😊
If you want a good drawknife, i would recommend Ray Iles from the UK. They have probably the best, triadtionally made DK's in Europe, at least. That bloke has been making and perfecting them for about 20 years, alongside other tools. Worth a check. Love the videos, as always. keep it up!
Ответить❤I must say this is so much better than all the stupid crap out there! Like all the conspiracy BS and cop videos! Good on you Mr Ovens 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤
ОтветитьGreat video I think it would have been easier to put the pole end in the hole and walk it up from the top till it was standing straight then put it in position. Nice too see that you did this alone.
ОтветитьIt was nice having dinner with you after putting up that TeePee by ourselves!!!😂
ОтветитьI watch those Siberians do Tepe style, it always take the whole family and some distant cousins to get theirs up. So, then it's pitching a tent and not major construction.
ОтветитьI followed ya episode on alone would've loved to see ya win but am super happy for ya my guy keep up the great work. In God's country
ОтветитьFinley reminds me of my German Shepherd, Major. His whole life was a stick and a rock. If he couldn't find a good enough stick, he'd get the biggest rock he could fit in his mouth, his teeth were actually flat.
ОтветитьLoving this video ❤️🔥👍
ОтветитьWhat if ya tied them up in moving water to lossen up the bark and then draged them .
Thanks 😎
You are great
ОтветитьLove the honor system. It seems like those who have more, give more than enough for those that don't have enough. And aside from seeing how this fails in city's and suburbs, it still flourishes in the Midwest in the rural areas.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьThat veggie “honour” stand reminds me of the stands on Manitoulin Island Ontario, they sell eggs, veggies, firewood etc. on the honour system too ❤
ОтветитьI wish I could have your life , but I am trapped in the matrix :( .Your a good man who loves his dog, I too have a dog & he too gets fed better than me , hes 17 years old & too is my best buddy.Stay safe & live well buddy !.Subbed.
ОтветитьBro! I am sat in my superman undies, smoking a weed vape and drinking Jack Daniels watching this and if all this aint worth a sub i don't know what is 😂 I'm just happy to find a channel not regurgitating "cheapest crap on amazon" reviews. This is the dude I'd want to share a fire and a bottle of bourbon and a big lump of meat with. 😂
ОтветитьGreg you look like don
ОтветитьBeautiful teepee! Amazing you basically put it up by yourself. I do have a question…In the rainy season how to u keep the floor from becoming saturated, like I’ve experienced in a tent? I suppose u would need an elevated sleeping platform.
ОтветитьAhh man i would do anything to help this guy build a teepee
ОтветитьJust curious.... Did the Company that gave him this ever comment or contact him after he built it? He was sooo humble to want to "do a good job for them", I just wonder if they bothered to contact him & show the same immense Respect? Also, if you are living off the land by yourself, how could you possibly do this alone???? Obviously they "Gave" him this because he's well known & hope people will buy these, especially if he highly recommends them. I just can't see how you would set this up alone in the middle of nowhere & be fortunate enough to have remotely the same trees he has, Alaska etc. I believe this would be absolutely amazing to kick back & relax in, so cosy 😁 my heart absolutely stunning no when no one showed up to help him 😞 he's the nicest guy on the planet & would do anything for anyone (if you've seen his other content) I can't believe a single one of "some people coming" didn't show up, they ALL couldn't of forgotten the road's in 😡 count how many days he's out there AFTER work waiting for people to show up. I hope they read this: You guy's are A$$holes
ОтветитьFarmers here in wa. State do it that way to. Great tp. I wouldn't want to take it down very often though. Lol
ОтветитьNo one's gonna read this but I wanna flex my limited meat knowledge. Most cows are fed feed corn and other cereal grains in order to fatten them up quicker to get them to market quicker, and a lot of "grass fed" beef start being fed the corn cereal grain mixture then about six months before slaughter get fed grass to change the flavor. It's similar to iberico ham. The pigs are fed eggcorns their whole life. What an animal eats really affects the flavor of the meat. Regular farm raised pork, raised on the same corn and cereal grains as cows (the hogs on my grandparents farm were fed that, there's also "slop" which is usually just organic trash from larger cities) taste way different than a wild boar who eats a lot of bugs worms and I imagine wild plants. It's kind of a you are what you eat thing.
ОтветитьOh Lord, poor guy 😂
ОтветитьSurely he gets a check
ОтветитьA man that loves his dog this much is a good man for sure, its the way i treat my pups too, they are my best mates and always will be 😊
ОтветитьLove this guy too but Oven! You don’t need such long poles for the tee pee! If you cut 4 or 5 feet off it would be easier to lift them up!
Thanks for the videos!!
You and Les are really the two biggest influences I've had to get into the bush.
I appreciate your humility and ability to learn.
Genuinely a wholesome soul.
Edit: Also, just a tip for Finn!
Garlic is toxic to dogs and can lead to anal bleeding, vomiting, etc!
Some dogs are less sensitive to it, and the "dangerous" dose varies dependent on the breed, weight, etc. But it's always better to be safe than sorry :)
Greg my second name is Gregorio , spanish for Greg. Im a spanish clone of you. I love all your work.
ОтветитьI like this guy ay cabron
Ответитьget a bitch
Ответитьuse clabos nails too ground it
ОтветитьI really enjoyed watching this video Greg. I have been doing van life for 15 months now and learn a lot from your videos. Thank you for making them.
ОтветитьI;m watching this again and man you worked your ass off geting that canvas pole up there, Great job,,, Who will help you cut the poles, Who will help you raise the tarp. Who will help you eat the lobster,,, nobody, haha. I gotta check and see how the insulation works for you. Looks like a hell of a TiPi. great place to live. Great nicht and glad you got out.
ОтветитьGREG, it seems as if you do your best building naked dude!!!
ОтветитьDenmark has stands where people help them selves and leave the money for what they bought. But if there are things like milk and eggs they'll have a camera.
ОтветитьI love your content you and your dog . Their is alot to Learn from you
Ответитьi really enjoy your videos and (Zach!!!) lemon goes on fish :)
ОтветитьI can't believe you gave a dog a expensive steak. I was enjoying watching but now your @#$% &% $@% I'm glad I'm not near you....
ОтветитьI spent some time de barking eucaliptus with a machete so i relate to not using the tool the right way
ОтветитьI am heart warmed, enjoying seeing your ingenuity & tenacity of spirit; making for entertaining, interesting, encouraging & instructional bush crafting a pleasure for viewing & inspirational learning 🏕️I was saddened for you that your helpers did not show up.
Yeah Man!, You did it! 👍
Just get Finley a bag of dog food, he can’t eat steak every day! Just kidding love your stuff brother , God bless you, hope I can camp with someone as cool as you as my camp neighbor
