Third molars, or wisdom teeth, are an additional set of teeth that grow under the surface of the gums and, in many cases, are undetectable without the proper X-ray evaluation offered at our offices in Billings, MT. It is not uncommon for teens and adults to be unaware that they exist in their mouth until they begin to present significant problems.

Dr. Boyce graduated first in his class from Creighton University Dental School in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Iowa. He has brought with him excellent training and an enthusiasm for oral surgery that will serve our patients and community for many years to come.

"I’m Brittney and I’m from Billings Montana. Dr. Haslim referred me to Dr. Boyce. He referred me to get my wisdom teeth taken out. I was really nervous because I didn’t know how I was going to feel and how much it was going to hurt. The staff was really nice to me, they asked me a lot of questions and if I had any questions they answered them all so I was really comfortable with it. Dr. Boyce is really nice to me and he was really nice during the recovery and he asked me a lot of questions about what school I go to, what activities I do and he comforted me with that. It was a really good recovery. It wasn’t… It was only sore for the next couple of days but that’s normal so. I have friends in Bozeman, Great Falls, and Missoula and if they have any questions about wisdom teeth I definitely recommend Dr. Boyce.
