Studio Dry update #1 - Working on a couple new projects

your videos offer a connection to art I find quite specific and different, the things you share tend to shift a person …

i have a deep appreciation for this and i find that having time to allow the feelings and awareness that come about, to settle; time to enjoy living with them for a little bit without hurrying to the next thing, allows for better incorporation of perspective into how i learn my own process. what you share tends to require space to breathe, which i love … i don’t know if other people agree.

so, may i suggest a video every 2 weeks rather.
and, i don’t know your life, but i also imagine that you might need the time as well, instead of creating a situation where you might be pushing too hard, perhaps … i don’t know?

Always love to see /hear about your thought process. Your exploration of lights and rocks really works well as an extension to your drawings.

It's always a joy to see the things you have been up to in the studio lately. Those rock lights look amazing btw! 🤩
I also found it interesting how you describe the practice of repeatedly drawing different whisps of smoke as developing some form of alphabet. I suppose in a way it's similar to developing a kind of 'library' of marks you can make.
Would love to see a weekly diary of what's going on in the studio, but whatever is comfortable and manageable with your busy schedule. 🙏
And secretly hoping that balancing pencils on your fingers like that is a sign of genius - I used to do that a lot myself. 😂

Updates are a great idea, I am struggling as I work to return to drawing, exhibiting and selling my work, and seeing you in action helps, whatever you're up to. Keep creating and let us see as much of your work as you are comfortable with!
