Your technique is beautiful@
ОтветитьI feel this about violin making
ОтветитьDo you take orders?
ОтветитьThis is true for anything you do: dancing, drawing, meat cutting, weightlifting, math, whatever. You suck on day one, but progress as time goes on.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьI’ve always wanted to know; is it possible for your clay to be “overworked”? If you mess up a piece and have to start all over again, can you just use the same lump of clay, or do you have to use a whole new chunk?
Ответитьtakes 10000 hours to become good. in the meantime enjoy the journey
ОтветитьI love that great positive reminders
ОтветитьI am a green woodworker and don't use a single power tool. I find that I always try to make things to look natural.
Ответить"Be curious, not critical," is dangerous. Constructive criticism is being curious. Constructive criticism is finding solutions. Constructive criticism is having a healthy outlook on improvement.
Not all criticism is bad. Without it we cannot improve. Not all curiosity is productive. There needs to be a balance between the two lenses, or else it teeters into useless play or self destruction rather than progress.
Sincerely,
A musician, keenly aware of growth found in the onserved nuances from repetition
Thanks for the reminder🫂

ОтветитьI know I want to throw for the rest of my living days ❤
ОтветитьI just came back from day 2 of my 5 day pottery class with no new piece. I wanted to cry because I suck so bad! This video is exactly what I needed to hear to head into day 3 🥲🥹
